Well on top of it all I stupidly agreed to do a paper on ethics to be videoed in November. Guess what my weekend has been spent doing…. Bloody research. At least I got out on ducks last night on a pals ponds and we shot a few. Then Ben and Sam did well too finding the birds in the dark. At least I am nack on the hill tomorrow with my boys!

The weather looks set fair for the week …. A bonus!

Have an extra slice for me - I had to give up bananas recently. Will miss the ocassional banana bread and coffee breakfast. 😋

I love a good bagel and schmear! Miss lox but had to give that up years ago so the sting is gone.
I'm still searching for my new favorite pizza. So different without any tomato! That one still stings.
Pork roll is all yours. Never have I ever been a pork person. 🤷‍♀️

Glad you missed the worst of the wind!

Academic year after my graduation, I was the only one available to take a sibling back to college with their stuff. 3/4 ton van filled with stuff on the way there... big, empty box on wheels on the way back. It was hard work holding my lane on the 90 minute drive home... and the bridges? That wind really whips up over bridges. Made it home in one piece but was quite the workout!
 
I picked up the slabbed cherry. It looks amazing. A friend of mine is taking 10 boards.

I ordered the lumber to make the solar kiln. I think I can knock it out in 2-3 weekends. It takes the drying time from a year or two years to 5-10 weeks (depending on thickness and type of wood).

That's closer to timbers than lumber.


Got some stuff loaded and most of it packed. Been a slow day here but production has been steady. Looking forward to trying out the new scoped rifle to sight it in. I also bought an upgrade trigger if necessary in case it's too crunchy. It just seems creepy right now.


I'ma try to round up some sleep weasels because of three hundred.
