The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

When I lived in PA i had gutter guards that worked great. Down here in FL i have not put them in yet. Many houses down here do not have them. It is a PITA to clean them. Some places I can get from the roof and some places I need to get high.
I don’t do heights well either. But our house is a Cape Cod and the gutters are pretty low.

Cleaning the gutters on the barn is another story though… I do not like that as much… but it’s a quick job.

Off to manage boss weasels today.

The other day, my PT one had something to say about my regular boss. I’m not into any drama and told her she was talking out of turn. I’m not an in your face type, but I don’t brook any horseshit. I just said “I wanna talk to you candidly.” And then one go to go on to tell her what I thought and I told her she was wrong and misconstruing what was said.

It was all professional. But right to the point. I’m not having bullshit like that.

Then yesterday, my regular boss was all about the budget, which I’ve never heard before. It’s not my problem. It’s hers and my PT boss.

Anyway, I suggested they should wrangle it out and that I should go to Cincinnati in Toronto and do what I need to do.

Which I do very well.

So finishing my workout, off to corporate zombieland!

More brains!

I am afraid to ask what is in “weasel paste.” 😂
You are fucking not!

Wait - Mrs wonderer sez you are…

Dammit!

Weasel Paste is made of . . . weasels.

Mrs. Wonderer has better taste that you do, and maybe has better sense, too. Tell her that Wat said oh hey.

I'm write the guy with Frankenmotor next week, when it'll have been 6 whole months.

Off to crack the whip on work weasels . . . .

I read this and laughed out loud.

Showed it to Mrs. wonder as I was leaving.. she tipped her head back and laughed a pretty good one.

And then said “hey, hi! “

Then she smiled and shook her head, maybe a slight roll of the eyes,as if to say, “ boy talk.“

We all watch HER!
She did have a way with words did she not? Some bubba went and collected her most “naughty”;

She was always chowing down on what she made, licking her fingers and food all over the place!🤣. Like a real cook! I watched other shows but Nigella was my favorite! Not sure she’s even on anymore…which is a shame. 😀

Good football game last night. I cooked for the family and SWMBO wanted to steam some broccoli, so I was watching and she calls me in at the 2 min warning. I’m thinking KC is just gonna go down and score and win…MAN…I missed the best two mins of the game! Finish eating and go back in to see who won…couldn’t believe I missed a great ending…such is life.

Everyone have a great Tuesday! HMMZ——

So the Cape is one story, more or less just low enough to break your neck when you fall and the barn is another, as in 2 stories? Just want to be clear! You must have som tall trees! I am now reminded to put in gutter guards! In PA there were 4 maple trees around the house, 5 if you count the neighbors. Great for shad in the winter and not too back to clean up after blowers were invented but as a kid I hated raking leaves!

Let me know what you’re looking for and I will get some milled for you.
I am just kidding. I worked next door to a company that made custom stairways, mostly oak. I raided there dumpster at night and when I moved to FL I left most of it behind. It was all good stuff. Thick not free and some quarter sawn. Beautiful stuff. I do thank you for the thought!

That’s because she is probably smarter than both of us.

I can't remember the last time I was in a movie theater. Because my husband was hearing impaired and we couldn't be sure they had the type of equipment he needed, we just watched movies at home. He put a surround sound system in the family room, aka his man cave. So much more comfortable and we could have our own snacks!
I have a sibling with major hearing loss. She's always surprised when a venue does have the adaptive equipment that works with her hearing aids. One show we went to she could hear some things that the mics didn't pick up enough for the general crowd (i.e. me)
