The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

They were also owned by the fuckin Russians for a while.

They used to have a brewery in Newark. And they had a giant can on the roof.
I just saw that when I Googled it to see where it was brewed. In a former life I was a field engineer and did work at a few breweries. My favorite was Furman & Schmidt in Shamokin, Pa. When I got to the plant the first morning they sent me up to the brewmaster's office. He poured me a beer! It was a great three day job!

That is awesome!

Have you ever gone to Yeungling brewery? Oldest in the country. Back in the 90s I got a tour from Dick Yeungling himself.

They have cool old lagering tunnels.

Apparently they were brewing beer the entire time of prohibition.

I just checked. The Russians bet owned PBR. The deal was scuttled.

No, Pabst was not ultimately sold to the Russian beverage firm Oasis Beverages; after an initial announcement in 2014 that suggested the sale, the deal was later clarified to be a purchase by Blue Ribbon Intermediate Holdings, a partnership between American entrepreneur Eugene Kashper and the private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners. The confusion stemmed from Eugene Kashper's simultaneous role as chairman of Oasis Beverages, which initially was intended to be a partner in the acquisition but later withdrew from the deal.
I feel less dirty now!

I drove by there a lot on 61 on the way to our hunting camp up in Sullivan Cnty, near Forksville where you just were. I stopped one time but the tour was closed. I am not far from the one they have here in the Tampa area and I have heard it is a good place to go. They have a resturant and entertainment.

Here’s how I’d describe the Ravonettes.

Buddy Holly meets the Everly Bros (while they’re mid fist-fight). They have lunch with the Stooges and the Sex Pistols.

Eventually lemmy and the boys strike up the band and Ride, The Stone Roses and The Beach Boyz turn up their amps to 11 and they add in a jigger of The Ramones.

My ears are ringing. One of the louder shows I’ve seen on a long time.

I needed it.
Glad you survived the opener and enjoyed the ravonettes

Several meetings to get through

Be sure to get up and go pee often. What are they going to do, tell you that you cannot be excused???

I’m making a list of questions to answer for my next job. I love this shit. He kind of makes me wonder who they’re going to bring to fuck up this job now that I’ve got it earning so nicely.

I’m sure they’ll find someone….
