The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

So my busiest time of the year has begun. Three times a week on the hill with my boys. It has been a little less difficult than I imagined as the hills seem to grow each year. Yesterday was particularly tough on the steepest hills with torrential rain making the grass, Heather, bracken and rock treacherous. It was not helped by carrying 25 partridges in my vest.

The plus is the Jack has had his first three days out. He has been brilliant tackling the terrain and starting to find and return birds to hand. During the drives he has chilled as you can see in the photos. So all bodes well for his first season as part of the pack.
That is SOOOO AWESOME!!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "envy" one of the 7 deadly sins?...
I better watch out for lightning 🌩 bolts! 🤣

Man do I love the bagpipes.

A lot of Irish and Scottish punk rock bands have incorporated them and the other traditional instruments.

It’s a cool combination.

Dropkick Murphy’s

And my favorite The Real Mckenzies

We saw then abt 10 years ago and they gave us a full backal. (A frontal but from the back… they were no wearing undies under their kilts! 😂

Ethyl will wound people. Not sure she'd kill one.

Daisy? Daisy came for me that day that she didn't recognize me. Came for me until she did determine it was me.

Didn't make a sound. Large and quiet and quick and menacing in the morning sunlight . . . .
They are tigers and lions after all.

Just at 1/8 the size.

My old country Dr (from the age of 5 through my late teens) was a brilliant man.... retired navy Dr, ear, nose and throat specialist.
His office call was $5 cash only at the time of his passing (it had been $4 for many years)
He stressed to me that "You're exposed to the "bugs" that make you sick, every day. It's simply a matter of when you run yourself down and weaken your resistance that they jump on you."
I'm pushing 60 now and have seen him proven right every time I've gotten sick.
You are definitely more susceptible to illness when you are run down.

Some of my worst was when I was not fully recovered. In high school I had walking pneumonia, which turned into pneumonia, I was out for three weeks straight. Then I was back in school for a week and then I came down with mono.

Out two more weeks…

I wish I could heart this 100 times.

Of course, for the lovely dogs who you’ve trained so well. But also for your tenacity and grit in training them well.

As well as pushing yourself! Wow!
