The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Yeah, I'm not. They'll figure it out.

Of course, I may have to get a fucking doctor's note, which will include an unwanted/unneeded trip to Doc-In-The-Box, but what the fuck ever.
I used Doc-In-The-Box for years for “primary care” after our primary doc got caught handing over his prescription pad to the local “University Girl” all night dance review!!

We actually had a couple of docs we really liked. They turn over fast at those places though.

Harbor Freight sells an 18" rollie-magnet thingie for cheaper than what the bigger box stores do. It's a cheap Chinee made POS, but for your at home use, it's good enough.
I’ll keep that in mind if I need to redo again. This roof was guaranteed for 30yrs, my moms is 15 yrs into a 25yr, so that’s coming up.

I find I use Harbor Freight a lot more for small things. If it breaks? Who cares, just go pay $5 for another. Perfect for tools for the boat, where they’re just going to rust anyway.

They're highest and bestest use if for bug-o'-the-month stuff. They learn what it is quickly and work out what works on it. And they're good for a not. "Little Johnny is being treated for bug-o'-the-week." Chronic conditions, get a real doctor. By a real one, I mean a specialist.

I have noticed that a box wrench isn't what it used to be. Periodically, I see a Snap-On truck parked somewhere, and I'm thinking about stopping and dropping the coinage and buying what will be the last set of box wrenches that I'll ever need. Either that, or I'll wind up scouring tool auctions and the like.

A LONG time ago a scap on tool guy came to the house and sold my dad tools ge got them and when he tried to pay they said therecwas no record of the sale. And they said no record so they would take the tools back because it would mess ip inventory..... it was a lot of expensive stuff for the semi !!!!

That’s a good deal actually, no up front payment and with gutters…at least compared to what we paid. Hurricane Florence did enough damage we had to replace. I can’t remember if we got in under that number but it was close. We did have some insurance help due to the storm.

One word of caution. I was finding roofing nails up to a year later! 😮. They will use a big push magnet sweeper and that will get the majority, but you may want to invest in a magnet and go around your shrubs where the big roller can’t get to. I had a 4” diameter round magnet I tied to an old rake handle on a string and just sort “nail swept” my flower beds. I was amazed at what I picked up and couldn’t see!

When you push the machine too hard, they break. It broke and so I get to camp out in the hotel today. It’s opening weekend of College Football, and some good games on the docket. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

He's doing a sweep with 3" magnet. Said he will leave it for a few days later so I can sweep as well. It's a great price. And the gutters and down spouts are going to be 6".

We had that too. When we got the new roof on our stone barn. I found a few nails by running over them. 😡🤬

Same. Cheap or stuff you only need once in a while? Sure.

I like good old used tools if I need something. I have a bunch but when my wife and I used to go to the markets in antique places more, I did buy a fair amount of older tools…
