The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I lost one that way.

I went back to see a couple of others.

It's never the same.
You can never really go home again…

Simulations continue today. Fun fun. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Just work on my end. All work and no play makes HDH a dull boy.

NM MZ——shout out to @likes2watchU for posting the schedule for ABQ Ballon Fest! SWMBO is actually going back home in Oct, so I might have to tag along…I was going to stay home and fish🤷🏻‍♂️…decisions, decisions…

flower beds:

Black eyed Susans. They’re early ones which are more like Echiibekkia and cone flower in June and early July.

Then there are middle ones that come out now in mid July. ⬇️

And in a few weeks, we get a different type that come out in late August.

Black eyed Susan and ferns in the foreground. Then coneflower, then pasta, and then daylilies.

Same scene, just a little bit further down the flower bed. Hostas and daylily.

Looking the other direction from the Black eyed Susan, towards other coneflower.

I had one very good friend. Her name was Susie figures and she had a limp. She was my best friend. She moved away and I never saw her again. I always wished that I could see her again. I periodically look for her but I can't find her
Time marches on. I was able to reconnect with many of my Air Force buddies afer many years apart. That was some time ago amd we have lost a few over the years.

I was always picked on too. I was always taller than everyone with a bright red afro. This is part of the reason I think I was slightly on the spectrum as a kid. I remember thinking literally about their comments. I don't have a meatball shaped head; my body doesn't look like a spaghetti noodle; my family is from FL, why wouldn't I have a Bucs jacket. It was always water off a ducks back when I was a kid.
My Afro was huge brown and typically flecked with hay dust in the summer lol. Then i discover how nice tight cut was in the summer 😜

I was not picked on too much. My brother was the Fonze in our town. Girls would always come around looking for him.
