I am awake as old dog needed to go out. Also I have been paying the price for indulging in fatty delicious food. At my favorite restaurant celebrating my GF’s birthday, I had fried Whitefish and their homemade fries Then later we had mocha ice cream- lots of it. I paid the price with indigestion last night. So I am taking it easy on fatty food today.

Have a safe drive. Closest I've been to there is Aitkin, other side of Brainard from there. I liked the drives around that country.

Time to pull the plug too. Tomorrow will probably be a busy day again Making some good progress on getting the garden fence up. All the posts are in, need to stretch fencing soon. Then a couple gates to build. But I'm paying for all that work. The body isn't liking the allergens and bugs out there!

All that for the one stinking deer that's hanging around!

I’m so sorry for your Mrs. Pain at night depriving her of sleep is miserable. She has my empathy. And so do you. Sleeping in the day is not normal but until the meds kick the Lyme, long naps may be her only relief. And as her care giver, take care of your health. Sending you both my best.

Thanks, b2. She had another sleepless night, so I’m letting her sleep and rest now. It seems like the only way.

Same - but cooking for 1 hits differently... so a lot of my meals are more grazing the fridge and

I had to reconfigure my entire medication schedule when I was on doxy last year.
I'm sure it was communicated but...
Avoid Sun - real or fake
Do not take the following w/in 2 hours of Doxy (before or after):
Calcium
Dairy
Magnesium
Iron
Zinc
There may be more but those are what I have on my reminder note (still taped to my monitor)

It seems that my birthday gift to Her was a bit much.
Instead of the occasional Thai Tea when we go out, I bought Her everything to make it at home, which She was doing twice a day.... caffeine issues arose.
She loves the gift though and told me it's the second best gift in the world, next to the heated toilet seat!

Pro-Tip for you guys...
NOTHING screams "I LOVE and respect your ass, louder than a heated toilet seat!"
Trust me on this one!

Hard day to get started. I started out really sore but got more limberer* as the day went on.

Had a long “session” this morning w Mrs wonderer who altho isn’t sleeping had good drive somehow. I am not complaining!

Cleaned the gutters, which were full of white pine needles. Did some light gardening, filled up wood bins at the farm stand.

Now at the docs waiting to get seen.

Ended up mowing the lawn today, dandelions were getting out of control. Had a back spasm this morning during my workout, so decided to get the mowing done and then be done for the evening. Garden fence will have to wait.

I see some of the wild flowers are starting to really pop right now. I always look for this one in the spring and early summer. It's tucked in a shaded area by the edge of the yard. I believe it's a white trillium, native to our area.
