My dad has lots of duplicates... he doesnt even know what he has
Ya can’t have enough! I have about 3 of everything.Wat has a veritable asspot of tools. Wat loves tools.
And about 72992672826 other times a day.Sex, @Wonderer67 ... you think about sex on your commute. Don't deny it.![]()
This guys is as tillable as a rain dance. When I bought my place, one of my brothers helped me shop for a set of basic tools. Just the stuff that's handy to have around the house for normal type stuff.
I've kept them organized and looking like new for 20+ years because I was taught:
Treat your tools well and they'll treat you well
Thanks to the handyman most of my tools are now looking like they were rode hard and put away wet. There's even a few missing that he "found here at my place". Honestly!
At least I know where they are - now the trick is getting him to remember to bring them back here the next time he shows.*
Irritating part - Yes, I can find something to replace them. But this particular set is no longer sold. So there is no replacing the part of the set if he doesn't return it. It will be a hunt for "something similar that will still work" at best.
I cannot wait for the day when he finishes these last few items. Then I can be done and never call him again.
Sad thing - he does decent work for a decent price. But he ghosts like a MFer and communicates forwhich makes dealing with him stress-inducing and maddening. Never again - I'll need to try and find a different handyman for any future jobs... and I will never recommend him to any of my friends/family!
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
*He's ghosted me for almost 3 weeks again
WOW! They look amazing. And grapefruit size. Damn. How do they taste??Took a quick peek at some of the trees. It's so hard to capture what they look like in real life. These ones in the sun turn much more red than the ones under cover of leaves.
They're about grapefruit size, but not ready yet.

You said it was hard to get up.Hard to get up
Unacceptable.I have a friend that comes over to work on his car at my place because I have all the tools! Well, Not as many as I had before he came over!
Good boys and girls.Calypso and his bestest buddy, Telly (the red poodle). I think that this is my last picture of Calypso. He died about a month later, almost to the day.
Baby Poodle's ass is in the background.
The old off-white horse had died two months before.
Old horses die. So do old people . . . .

How big a kiln? What kind of temp can you reasonably expect to achieve?Long day of work. Meetings pretty much all day but I was focused on a strategy document I needed to finish. And a business deal I’ve been trying to place for a few weeks. Don’t this it will close tho.
Had dinner w my daughter and had a few laughs.
I’ve been thinking about building a solar kiln since my buddy passed away a few weeks ago. He made a kiln and I was gonna get my cherry dried there but it’s already been given to a grandson.
So I researched, found plans, maybe a bit of reverse engineering. Gonna build my own. Another wonderer hare brained scheme.
Well, there's that...He was the fire department. He could claim an emergency and who's to say.
I use my phone the most. Even here.I use my tablet more like my phone, at least in the ways that I use it. I need to use it more.
I have zero doubt! In spite of any and all rumors to the contrary, Wat really is that damned charming.
I was wonderering if it was that or the cups!I’m playing the spoons!
She is beautiful!I did not… but the missus and I both agreed how amazingly striking looking she is. And I got some great photos.
She’s more milfy looking now…
I was thinking about these plans but maybe going a bit bigger. How big a kiln? What kind of temp can you reasonably expect to achieve?
I have a small Library to build soon and this would be helpful. I want to use wood from our farm.
