The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I dislike how some professions are treated... 99% of the people don't have their degree "revoked" or expire, just because they worked in a different field for a while....
I will always have my degrees; they're earned and can't be taken away. It's the license to practice which is conferred by the state. It can be taken away, mostly for egregious infractions. In my case, I voluntarily let my license expire.

Good morning patrons of the diner. It was good ton read that RJ and Lillli were around. For those in the bullseye of storms today, be careful.

I may need to help my daughter with rides to and from the dealership today. Also will see my GF and an evening of celebrating another widows birthday with other ‘WIDs’. We are an active group.

Have a lazy relaxing Saturday. 😊

That damned class I tooken last week didn't teach me shit that I didn't "know" from when I took that stuff 20 years ago, but I had to sit through it anyway. Should be, if you can pass the test, you should be able to move on and be certified.

I did that with a professional designation here. I'd have to spend a few grand and sit through Hellish classes to renew it. Not a'gonna happen.

I might look into it Out West, but I may not have to if I'm building wee houses myself on dirt I own and I get all my paperwork.

Don't laugh! You might be surprised where IVs get started! If we can't find a vein in a conventional spot, we'll search out (ahem!) other areas until we can get a central line placed.
I started an IV in a boob... we gave code meds through it.... diabetic esrd on dialysis with a fistula... you do what you have to do
