Definitely the best plan when able!We always headed to the shore or docks when the storm could move in. We did not want to experience what you described!

i have so many rifles in 7.62x39.They have MAS 49/54s for sale. I don't want another orphan caliber.
That's why I pounced on the SAFN. I stockpile aught six because Garands.

I don’t think I’d mind an orphan cal.
I assume the 30.06 for that would have to be M2 ball 150 gr rather than newer 180 hr… I have a buncha that too… so maybe…
I still think my next purchas’ll be another old school revolver.
I was on a small boat on Lake Powel when a storm blew up. I have never backed a trailer so fast! We got off the water just as lightning raged around us. We waited out the storm in the truck. It isn't good, it is bad, to be close to lightning. I live donw here in the lightning capital of the US. We have a hockey team with it as their name. Anyway, I was out in a small boat on a lake with family and friends heading back to the dock because a storm was approaching. At one point everyone's hair was standing on end and you could feel the static. We docked and were driving away from the marina when lightning hit a tree maybe 100' away. Too freaking close. I can still see it decades later.
Ouchie! The five pieces of deep dish are driving a parade of bulldozers through my colon.
I think so, too. I think I'll try with some cherries.I suspect it would...
I bought a tuxedo cake at Costco for some reason. I took it to my friend's house yesterday and left it there! She or the City’s Italian bakery made them. Yum. I stay away from bakeries except for special occasions.
You can't hide from the storm in one?I had two close calls. One here at our house, but another when I was in an old national guard unit when a storm blew right the hell on us at Ft indiantown gap.
One of my friends in an in a different unit, actually got struck. He survived and was fine.
Tanks and lightning do not mix.
