Saw this tonight.

Once you get past all the typical Spike Lee preachy bullshit, it was a pretty damned good movie.

Still annoys me that this motherfucker thinks he's so special he calls his movies 'joints', not 'movies' or films'.

Pretentious bitch.

The only reason I want to see this movie is because Edward Norton's in it. So, pray tell, does he pull of as excellent a performance in this movie as all his others? Inquiring minds (and a guy that might go see it) want to know.

Yeah, Norton was his usuall excellent. Everyone was pretty swell, actually. The director of photography sucked and the editing techniques were pretty bad, though.

And the score sucked my hairy left nut.

But all that aside, I'd buy the DVD.

I'll probably just save the 25th Hour for a rental...
But speaking of Edward Norton, have you seen Death to Smoochy? It kinda sounds stupid, but it really is a great movie. Robin Williams and Jon Stewart are a couple of the other actors.

Death to Smoochy is a really good film, I loved it! i'm a big Edward Norton fan, ever since that movie he did with Richard Gere, I can't recall the title of it. I'll go see the 25th Hour just for Norton.
