I am very happy to receive two nominations ( Best Romance and Most Literary-Genre Transcending). I am extremely grateful to the readers who made it possible.

Thank You readers for nominating my poems in 2 categories: Illustrated and Audio.
Feel Honoured and Delighted!

Be darned - nominations in First Time, in Humour and Satire and in Exhibitionist & Voyeur. All I can say is a big thanks to my fans. Who knew? Especially with this level of competition!

Westrons in Sci-fi is so incredibly original that I cannot imagine why that's not getting more votes.

The battle of Limset is so epic, and it's where the protagonist gets his first huge victory. Tudino comes in, the snarky alien commander that shovels in her reinforcements into the battle at just the right time. The entire story is so rich in so many ways, so detailed and surprisingly entertaining on many levels. All this without overdoing it in the obvious way the story premise would seem to carry it. We get so much substance on the character's motivations, their interactions, their thought processes. I'm in awe.

It should get some more attention for its uniqueness, especially on how the story and characters slowly but surely evolve--I mean, they really do--and the general story arc is always "up" on both counts. I cannot fathom how AspernEssling (the author) juggled and pulled off such a coup by effectively making each personality a nearly stand-alone character. Additionally, there's always something going on behind the scenes where the reader is not disappointed in that such a thread is taken up again, addressed and usually satisfactorily resolved in what could be considered an accepted literary fashion. While it's not perfect, it is one of the few stories I can say from start to finish kept me riveted and wondering what would happen next, in a normal and believable way and is among the few stories I could name off the top of my head that has the fewest unresolved items that I've read. :rose::rose:

After reading A Perfect She-Devil," I can't say if she's "sexy" per se, but she's drawn to be so deep and well-formed as a character that I enjoyed reading every line about her. That was such an entertaining and quite original historical/fiction story. :)

I must say that Alison in "Alison's Lament" is a very complex character in a very well fleshed-out story. She's very well-drawn, pretty complicated and most definitely multi-layered with many issues (known and unknown) to resolve, which makes for a very interesting character.

Measured against "A Perfect She-Devil," Alison is most definitely the "hardier" character, while Mary Green has her certain charms. A must say that really both don't fit my definition of "sexy," as the only one I consider far-and-away sexy in that list is Natalie from "Cinnamon" and One-Hit Wanda. I can certainly agree that all three stories are most definitely quite original in each of their own rights, and respectively well-written.

I would certainly be interested to see what those who nominated these other 2 female leads considered "sexy" about them both...just out of the curiosity of seeing how they define that for themselves.

For sure on "Sexiest Female Character" I keep returning to Natalie from Cinnamon, which seems to me the only one to show some type of "come hither" attitude after she gets to know the other guy. My opinion, but I don't see a "sexy" quality in the other stories. If someone can explain what they saw in the others, I would find that a fascinating discussion.

PTSD and the Good Samaritan is a master class in how to write a mature story that ticks all the best author practices while making it so totally engrossing--and WITHOUT ANY SEX! Extra stars for such a flawless performance--not unlike Tara Lipinski's win in Nagano in 1998!

Anyone that has yet to read that story needs to drop everything and make time for it. What a winner! :D:D:D

"Legend of Lexi" is a very slow burn, but after reading it and seeing the 102 or so comments, many agree it was quite hot.

What a shame Lexi wasn't nominated as a "sexy female," as she would have fit the bill.

"The Valley Road" in IR is such a wonderful historical fiction piece that it's a captivating read; it's very touching and quite gripping.

What a shame Quan Liu was not nominated for "sexiest male character," as he certainly fits the bill too.

Unfortunate there's no discussion (or willingness to) of some of these stories and relevant items. I wonder if that reflects the general trend of fewer comments for stories also?

I think that, at least in part, it is because there were no awards the last two years.

How did I miss that (about this award)?

In that case though, what a shame there isn't more enthusiasm for its return.

most influential writer

this was a hard one, silkstockingslover and writerannabelle are both amazingly skilled. I ended up choosing annabelle, since she isn't as popular (at least not yet).

Nothing wrong with choosing someone that may not be as popular. Sounds like you concluding that after reading various tales from each, which is far more informed on voting as opposed to at least a few votes obviously submitted by fanboys in some instances but where the character/story doesn't fit the category. If some would take the time to read each tale up for voting, it's certain the results would be different.

Nick Weaver gets my vote in Sexiest Male Character in a story. Nora really paints him as the sexy, wanted guy to his female counterpart. He has his issues, but he's real and he most definitely fits the "sexy" label from how the author drew him and detailed his thoughts and actions. Well done, Nora! :rose::rose:

What a shame Willow wasn't nominated as the Sexiest Female Character...she would have fit the bill because she drove the one guy she wanted totally nuts and in what everyone said was a believable way! Many commented she even felt like a "real" person, albeit with real issues and that's just great writing that convinces readers. :D:D

Congratulations to all the winners. It was an honor to considered alongside so many talented authors.

And a heartfelt thank you to all the readers who read and considered my stories, whether you voted for them or not.

Hearty Congrats to All Winners!!!
It was an Honor to be nominated in 2 categories!!!

I just found out that I was nominated for "Untrusted"

Cool! I just found out that I was one of the 5 nominated for Erotic Couplings in 2019. Untrusted was my first story submitted to Literotica. I'm so happy to be on this list. How were these five stories chosen?

I’ve completed a draft of my next story that I hope to submit soon.
