‘Stop embarrassing yourself’: Trump ridiculed for being ‘dumb as a fencepost’ for thinking Pelosi can be impeached

President Donald Trump was impeached on Wednesday but still seems very unfamiliar with the constitutional mechanism.

“Nancy Pelosi is looking for a Quid Pro Quo with the Senate. Why aren’t we Impeaching her?” Trump asked on Twitter.

The answer is easy: members of Congress can not be impeached under the United States constitution.

Despite Trump’s fixation on impeachment — which has dominated his combative Twitter feed — the president’s failure to familiarize himself with impeachment was derided online.

@Pappiness

It's probably because she didn't bribe a foreign government to investigate her political rivals, but thanks for the false equivalency.

Congrats, you won stupidest tweet of the day.

She can't be impeached, shortstack.

BTW, she is asking for a fair trial. #MoscowMitch & #SweetLinds have already told the world they want to conduct a sham trial.

Nice try, but Speaker Pelosi owns you, Putin Patsy.#IMPOTUS #IMPOTUS3

The President of The United States is the stupidest motherfucker on Earth. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1208137095270862848

White House ordered Pentagon to withhold Ukraine aid two hours after Trump got off the phone with Zelensky

Newly-released and heavily-redacted memos from Office of Management and Budget national security official Mike Duffey reveal that the White House ordered the Pentagon to shut off military aid to Ukraine less than two hours after President Donald Trump got off the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 25.

The memos, made public by the Center for Public Integrity, were released by the Trump administration late Friday night, as part of a court order in the wake of impeachment advancing to a Senate trial.

Trump is taking another two week golf vacation — as the taxpayer bill for his hobby sets records

President Donald Trump continues to set records for the amount of time a commander-in-chief has spent golfing while in office.

Trump had repeatedly criticized President Barack Obama for golfing but has spent far more time on the links than his predecessor.

“President Donald Trump has pushed his taxpayer-funded golf tab past $118 million on his 26th visit to Mar-a-Lago, his for-profit resort in Palm Beach, Florida, with a Saturday visit to his course in neighboring West Palm Beach,” HuffPost reported Saturday. “The new total is the equivalent of 296 years of the $400,000 presidential salary that his supporters often boast that he is not taking.”

$120 Million for golf and travel expenses should be added to his fines after his Impeachment Trial!

Upton Sinclair Rolls Over In Grave, Is 'USDA Prime' Under New Trump Meat Rules

New meat inspection rules being rolled out by the Trump administration will get Big Government out of your food, leaving safety inspections in the maybe-washed hands of line employees at giant pork producers instead of US Department of Agriculture inspectors, according to a vegetarianism-inducing report by NBC News. The new rules will apply to factories producing roughly 90 percent of the pork consumed in America, and then later will be applied to beef plants, too. Your meals won't be any cheaper, probably, but the producers can goose their profits, possibly by adding actual geese while nobody's looking.

Most pork plants now have as many as seven USDA inspectors working in them, right on the production line, looking closely at hog carcasses and making sure the meat is safe, at several points along the pig-disassembly line. (For a thoughtful look at the business -- at a beef plant, but we're all made of meat -- see Ted Conover's excellent 2013 piece "The Way of All Flesh," for which the author went sort-of undercover and became a trained USDA inspector.)

The New Swine Singers plan will cut the number of inspectors per plant sharply, to just two or three, and they won't usually be directly inspecting the meat.

Now instead of "USDA Prime" you will get "Non-USDA Probably Pork". THis is how to make a lot of folks Vegans!

The Trump administration has just declared war on Social Security

American workers contribute to Social Security with every paycheck. When they do, they are earning comprehensive insurance protections. Social Security insures against the loss of wages due to old age, disability, or (for the surviving family of a worker) death. While Social Security is best known as a retirement program, disability and survivor’s benefits are equally essential.

The Trump administration proposal would require millions of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries to re-prove their eligibility for benefits as often as every six months — far more frequently than is currently the case. There is no justification for this policy. The United States already has some of the strictest eligibility criteria for disability benefits in the world. More than half of all claims are denied.

Donald Trump himself might not be a diligent student of history, but his advisers — men like Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s chief of staff and a longtime enemy of Social Security — know exactly what they are doing. They want to resurrect Reagan’s Social Security cut knowing full well that it killed people.

If SSDI probably will kill people, can it start with Mick Mulvaney?;)

Nancy Pelosi turns up the heat on Trump and the Republicans — and it’s working

For all the hand-wringing I and many others have done over the past couple of months over the House leadership’s impeachment strategy, its implementation went very smoothly. Traditionally, Democrats have always had a rather large contingent of right-leaning members who inevitably cause trouble in these partisan battles. At the very least I would have expected some public hemming and hawing from showboaters, if only for the camera time it would have given them.

None of that happened this week, at least not by the Democrats. (The Republicans behaved like boorish adolescents through much of it, whining, bullying and yelling. That’s just how they are.) Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard voted “present” for reasons nobody really understands, so the only Democrats to break ranks were the last of the old-time Blue Dogs, Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota and the party-switching Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey, who appeared with Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday and literally declared his “undying support” for the president.

Donald J. Trumpski, leader of the undead!

Trump attacks his critics as ‘the dumbest human beings on earth’ in angry rant to far-right youth

President Donald Trump took a break from his two week Florida vacation to address a far-right political organization that seeks to political mobilize young conservatives.

The president addressed the Turning Point USA summit in West Palm beach on Saturday.

The crowd was warmed up by right-wing radio personality Rush Limbaugh, who told the audience “Climate change is a hoax. Don’t believe it.”

Dumb as a Stump Trump lectures youths for Jeebus!

And you paid for him to go there!

John Bolton nails Trump for screwing up North Korea nuclear treaty — and says he was always ‘bluffing’

It was revealed this weekend that North Korea has further developed its missile program on a site known to deploy long-range missiles.

“Commercial satellite images from Planet Labs show a temporary structure at the site to accommodate the raising of a launcher arm, according to Jeffrey Lewis, director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies,” NBC reported Saturday.

It’s for that reason former Director of National Intelligence John Bolton lashed out at President Donald Trump.

According to Axios, Bolton suggested Trump was bluffing when he told the American people he would get North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un to sign a nuclear disarmament treaty.

That's our Trumpikins, all bullshit and no backbone! Right on, Johnny B!

‘I know how not to commit crimes!’ Rudy Giuliani goes off the rails during booze-fueled interview

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani sat down for an interview with New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi in which he downed Bloody Marys and railed against federal investigators who seem to be hot on his trail.

During brunch at The Mark, a five-star hotel on East 77th Street in New York, Giuliani fumed about the federal prosecutors at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York who are reportedly investigating him for a wide assortment of potential crimes.

Slamming Bloody Marys Rudy says he is too clever to be caught! :)

Giuliani denies being anti-Semitic after uncorking bonkers Soros conspiracy theory: ‘I’m more of a Jew than he is!’

During his interview with Nuzzi, the former New York mayor uncorked a wild conspiracy theory about billionaire George Soros in which he claimed that Soros “controlled” former American ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, and then claimed that Soros is “employing FBI agents” who are apparently out to get President Donald Trump.

“Don’t tell me I’m anti-Semitic if I oppose him,” he said. “Soros is hardly a Jew. I’m more of a Jew than Soros is. I probably know more about — he doesn’t go to church, he doesn’t go to religion — synagogue. He doesn’t belong to a synagogue, he doesn’t support Israel, he’s an enemy of Israel. He’s elected eight anarchist DA’s in the United States. He’s a horrible human being.”

Pot <>Kettle, Rudy!

FOIA Warriors Kick Trump's Bullsh*t Ukraine Explanations In The D*ck

A full ninety-one minutes after Donald Trump hung up from his "perfect, perfect" shakedown phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, one of Trump's lackeys from the Office of Management and Budget hopped on his Obamaphone to tell the Defense Department not to send any money to Ukraine. Heckuva coincidence, huh? Mike Duffey, as the lackey is known, emailed Deputy DOD Secretary David Norquist to tell him the congressionally allocated $391 million -- $141 million of which was in DOD's piggybank -- was on "pause" for "reasons," and "Given the sensitive nature of the request, I appreciate your keeping that information closely held to those who need to know to execute direction."

In its defense, OMB spokeswoman Rachel Semmel huffs to ABC that the hold was actually discussed on July 18 after Trump saw an article in the Washington Examiner about money for Ukraine and flipped his shit.

"To pull a line out of one email and fail to address the context is misleading and inaccurate," she complained. As if the fact that the nation's foreign policy can be derailed by Donald Trump discovering the details of legislation he signed months before in a conservative rag is somehow exculpatory. Semmel insists that it was just a crazy coincidence that the White House was freaking out over Trump's phone call at the very moment OMB decided it needed to lock that money down RIGHT FUCKIN' NOW. If that were true they'd be delighted to stick it to Democrats by testifying to prove Donald Trump's holy innocence.

But they aren't. They did everything they could to keep that information locked down over the summer. They refused to testify. They only responded to a FOIA under court order. And when they had to produce the record, they dumped a vat of black ink over it to hide their own guilt.

FOIA is more powerful than the House! Trumpinistas can fuck over Congress but not FOIA!

Mitch McConnell is in ‘a real bind’ because voters are demanding he hold a real trial: Kentucky lawmaker

On CNN Tuesday, Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) broke down the key political pressures pulling Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in both directions on how to conduct the Senate impeachment trial.

“The president is saying the House process was unfair, and now implying why should Democrats expect a fair process in the Senate. what do you say to that?” asked anchor Kate Bolduan.

“Well, first of all, he’s totally lying about the process,” said Yarmuth. “He was invited to have lawyers present and call witnesses, he chose not to. He did not participate in the House. To say it was not fair because he decided not to make it fair is ridiculous. I think the argument is the same with whatever happens in the Senate.”

“I think Mitch McConnell’s in a real bind here, regardless of what President Trump says,” continued Yarmuth. “I think Mitch is going to face severe criticism, and as the polling has shown, not just from Democrats, if he makes short shrift of this whole proceeding. And yet if he calls witnesses, then the president’s case is going to be severely damaged. I think he really makes the calculation right now that at least he’s safer to have, basically, a non-trial trial, than to call witnesses who would undermine the president’s arguments.”

Moscow Mitch has no faith in the Justice System or the truth! I mean how can he pack the courts if he has to be fair and balanced? How can he bank all those Rubles if he can't take foreign money?

You underestimate my resilience, a dipshit like Trump couldn't make me cry. I have lived thru a lot of piss poor Presidents and this one I will out live as well. He is not even a Republican!

However if Moscow Mitch decides that Trump is a liability that the Rethuglicunts can no longer afford, how can he turn on him? Mitch is trapped by his own rhetoric, he has to support Trumpski and the Russian money or his own Majority will collapse. In 2020 we will see if the people are truly awake and if they will come out to vote the GOP fucker out of office.:D

The above indicators of your lack of education, lack of informed opinion, evidence of North Korean/Russian designed brainwash, lack of constitutional education, ignorance of the law, ignorance of American history, lack of good citizenship, bewildered understanding of simple American civics, leads ordinary Americans to the frightful conclusion that you're off your rocker and can't be taken seriously.:D

McConnell’s PAC collected cash from Russian oligarchs. It might have been legal under the Citizens United ruling, but it’s still a fact.

So how does that refute anything I said? A contribution to a PAC isn't McConnell taking a bribe from Putin or prima facie evidence he's an agent of the Russian government as implied by Jack and other wackos of the left.

The KY Repukes can do to Mitch what they did to Matt, and there won't be any KY involved.

I just thought of it when you mentioned a lack of good citizenship.

I'm guessing the Demon has directed his minions to go forth and defend his protege', Moscow Mitch?

Doesn't mean he isn't a good citizen.
Seems obvious to me that accepting foreign cash for political campaigns makes one a shitty citizen. I guess that you have a different take on it. Care to explain yourself?
