You may be speaking of people in your life, but one great "ignore" tool for me is to not watch TV; I don't listen to radio either. I like not knowing stuff and most of the personae presented by the media.

A little of each I guess. There are the people who I really don't like, but who think we're friends because I'm too nice to tell them to just fuck off. The fact that I never call them should be a hint, but no. I should watch less TV too, got a gazillion channels and nothing on.

Actually I don't put anyone on ignore. When someone is genuinely an ass, it's rather reassuring to see how consistantly s/he is one. It gives meaning and structure to my life.
