Oh honey.... your body is beautiful, it reminds me of a venus statue, of even the birth of venus! Honestly, I think you're an incredible-looking woman, and I know that if I was bisexual, I'd be all over you, begging for your affections. You have the body that inspired great men to paint portraits of incredible beauty, to put on canvas the body of their dreams, yearning for it in the middle of the night, haunting them throughout waking hours, and teasing the corners of their minds with erotic visions.

women with chunky butts and baby-bearing looking belly's? oh yeah. there's the image I yearn to turn men on with. (joking, just joking)

Myst, are you moving there?

FG.. I'm about an hour south of Portland, Oregon.

Chuckus, thank you. It means a lot to see your support.

See, this is why I bring my personal shit here.. I actually have people that understand and care about me. My family and 'friends' make me feel like shitola..

I post the kind of pics I do because you all make me feel good about myself.. I blush about 30 shades of red when I do.. but I have more self confidence because of your comments.

In RL.. I feel like hiding in the dark when it comes to my body.

You guys mean so much to me.

Aheem...'scuse me...

Sorry to butt in like this but I couldn't resist. Being "plush" (as my darling husband puts) myself, I can understand how you feel. But to give you a slightly different point of view...This link will take you to a painting done by Peter Paul Rubens.

http://192.41.13.240/artchive/r/rubens/three_graces.jpg

"Peter Paul Rubens is considered one of the most important Flemish painters of the 17th century. His style became an international definition of the animated, exuberantly sensuous aspects of baroque painting."

There was a time when voluptuous women were considered beautiful and desirable...Those were the days.

No matter what you may say about yourself, the posts on this board tell me that you are a loving, sensual creature...with many fans.

Kit (terminally "big boned")

*looking down, dejected.*

grabs lickerish in a hug never ever feel that way.
you are a beautifull woman.
never let someone use words to try and put you down.

when they do it means they are feeling bad about themselves and trying to bring someone else down to they can feel superior.

If you dont let them bring you down they lose.

Lickster...

You know I love ya just like you are...and I should know, I've seen ALL the parts you have.

You are special and beautiful and I don't give a fat rat's ass what anyone else thinks.

It IS all about me, right? *grin*

Lady_kit.. thank you for the picture, it is beautful. I just wish I didn't feel like I was looking in the mirror when I look at that pic. It's not the body image I want for myself.

YoungGuns *hugs you tight back* thank you :)

SimplySouthern.. yes it's about you darlin'.. ;) always. I LOVE looking at you. :D

I have no great words of wisdom to give as this is a struggle I deal with on a daily basis. So, I'll just give you a hug.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

psst...I'm on the westside of Portland if you want a real hug or just a friend to vent at. :)

Lavender. There are a select group of females whom I truly value what they have to say.. and there are many who I could care less about. What you said, meant a lot. :)

PacificBlue, I just might take you up on that offer

Speaking of local people... where has Siren been?

I am so tired...

Of these skinny, thin, average, normal women thinking they're fat!! Hell, even my 15 y/o cousin is on Weight Watchers with my aunt! (That is just so sad!) Try weighing the SAME amount you did 2 1/2 years ago when you gave birth to a child. :(

lickerish....

you are beautiful....absolutely gorgeous... and fuck everyone who thinks otherwise...

fat women unite!

lickerish, you say you think you look like the painting? Hell, I KNOW I look like those women. I too used to be thin. Then came hormone therapy, weight panic, speed, metabolic crash, and 80 brand new pounds. It's down to about 50 over now, but it's still no laughing matter. It hurts, it's hard to look at yourself when looking just reminds you of what you aren't.

In the end, it isn't worth it. Skinny girls tell me all their problems with their bodies. And when I was thin, I didn't like my body. Over time, I sculpted a body that fit my abysmal body image, that justified it. My whole life has been a rolelrcoaster of highs and lows in terms of weight. Fat, I romanticize thin. Thin, I find other things about myself to hate.

People can be very cruel about size. It's sad, but true. True body acceptance can only come from within. External referents are just props to hide insecurity--in other words, being thought beautiful doesn't make you feel beautiful. (Take it from a former child model ;))

But, what the hell. The painting's called "The Three Graces." How bad can that be?

Don't beat yourself up. Some people like it. I know, personally, I like that little extra flab on a woman. Do I like skiny? SURE!!!!!! But I'd rather squeeze flesh than break bones.

Lickerish, {{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}} I know, I'm there. I feel it too. Just know that you're not alone.

And no, I'm not saying you're fat.

OMG!! Licky....... I am gonna come out there and kick... I mean lick..... your butt!!!!!

I know girl, I know... But man.... It's so bad that this is what it comes to in the minds of many many women all over.... I can relate too. I am not skinny.... far from it..... I have a tummy, strech marks on my boobies (faded now but there all the same), a big booty, and a fat theigh situation I am not pleased about. I look like a goon in shorts, and I hate being naked. Many people think that just because I've posted sex pics, that means I am happy with my body, but I am alas, NOT!!! I try to be, but I see girls all over wearing clothes I'd look like a j-wad in. I feel your pain girl. I know.

Anyhooo, The average size of a woman in the US is a size 16 now. That is AVERAGE.

I'd like to add that I love the look of an ample woman as much as a thin one. I don't get it. I love to see women look curvey, and rich. I don't like seeing it on myself, but otherwise, I do. It is weird, but I am too hard on myself, as are you.

I am sorry, I know this sucks for you, and that you are not looking for rationalizations but I am glad you are who you are, and I know you don't mean to be down on yourself, because you know you are a good person, and that you are just frustrated about your body.

It is a hard fact, but once a woman has two children, it is an uphill battle to get and keep thin. Being healthy is much more important than being thin, and thin can= sick, if it is acheived in a drastic manner.

I love you babe.

Did you ever stop to think that SKINNY people who are depressed about being overweight and are unhealthily dieting could have an eating disorder? That the complaints are valid and warranted because they do see themselves that way, and that the disorder they have won't let them see what they *really* look like?

On the other hand if someone is just unhappy with their bodyshape, does that not give them the right to feel badly for it just because they arent as fat as someone else is?

My two cents!

Your body size doesn't matter! It's whats inside that does!

The problem with our culture is we are bombarded in ads with svelt models, the "perfect" people. It ain't reality folks!

Fat, skinny or inbetween, I love women!:)

fuck 'em fuck em all to quote a weel know member of this board.
however does this sound familiar, usually get served last in shops and bars (unless you make a fuss)
abuse (usually teenage boys) when you walk down the street.
thats a question I used to ask my self now I ask those giving the abuse... do they honestly think that I don't know I'm fat? what did it just creep up on me after I left the house?
my favourite answer is ..yes I know I'm fat but I can diet. what are you going to do? plastic surgery?
Having to work twice as hard and be twice as good at your job to get the same recognition as the slim girls?
Having dreams that you get some strange wasting disease and end up thin?
and god do I hate people who say why don't you just go on a diet? huh I think I have been on a diet for the past 20 years ( i was a fat kid as well) by the way why are most people who ask this question always slim?

Having endured all of this and having tried every diet and fad eating regime know to the civilized world and some that the civilized world have disowned. I gave up and now I concentrate on my good features and just say fuck the bad ones. and believe in my own myth that one day when the karma is right (and I get that unidentified wasteing disease) I will get thin, well thinnish no need to be getting carried away, I mean who in their right mind would want to be as skinny as victoria beckham?

My advice if you believe you are beautiful then others will.
just keep telling your self your beautiful, 'cause you are.

Lickerish, I don't really know you, but I've read some of your posts and you seem like a down to earth, good person - and that is what really counts!

But I did want to add - when was the last time you had a complete run of blood tests done? Gaining 50 pounds in 2 years might (now, I said might) be indicative of a health problem. I gained an exceptional amount of weight in a very short period of time. I just thought that was it, nothing I could do about it. Finally went to the doc, had a complete blood panel worked up and discovered I was hypo-thyroid - my metabolism had slowed dramatically. I now take medication, and it still isn't easy (still losing the weight as well, though most is gone), but I've learned that sometimes when a person gains weight over a short period time there may be a medical condition involved.

Just my .02 worth..
