if cities are willing and prepared, no problem. the problem is trump wanting to use people as some sort of 'weapon', hoping to swamp the cities' resources in an effort to punish his political adversaries. morally, THAT is WRONG.

now, if it's all well-prepped, then busing them to the cities (which can physically take care of them as they are being processed as migrants or asylum-seekers) is actually a positive thing.

I find this 'I'm more compassionate than you are' mentality is so hypocritical. Neither the left or the right have sole dibs on compassion. In this race to self righteous fervor and your attempt to outdo each other you should take the time to think this through, especially you people who are heads of households. There is a system of laws in our country that regulates immigration. We are all too willing to conflate legal immigration with illegal immigration because it feels good.

Whether you choose to believe it or not our country is bordering financial ruin, it's blazing away right now but we're one major mishap away from a major catastrophe. Our national debt is 22 trillion dollars, that will never get payed off but the solvency of our nation depends on paying the interest on the debt which is 400 billion dollars and we have no choice on that bill, that has to be paid. New York city alone has a debt of 119 billion dollars in unfinanced liabilities and debt. Mayor De blasio just set aside 27 million dollars for educating illegal migrants. He is very generous with money you don't have. This is your money, your future. This money should be for our kids. This self righteous rep AOC just chased away Amazon from NYC, thousands of jobs and billions in revenue. NYC is being taxed into the ground and people are leaving for greener pastures, so as people leave the debt gets bigger and fewer people to pay it. Undocumented migrants are putting a strain on all our social systems. That's not being a racist that's a fact of reality.

There will come a time when our social networks will be so watered down and overburdened it won't be able to help anyone. The Bernie Sanders single payer system would break the bank, why? because the feds can't do anything right. Just look at the VA, a microcosm of what the single payer system would look like. We are a nation of immigrants ( legal immigrants ) Ellis island type. We can understand their plight, they wish for a chance at the American dream, for a better life but when is enough enough. We can't bring all the world's poor to America, there has to be a measured way to bring people here. I think DACA is a done deal just make it happen but if we don't control this migration we will continue to have this problem over and over.
