It is now time, officially, to change the scent I've been wearing for what seems like forever. Time to say goodbye to Amazone.

I hate this. I still love the scent, but I've been through some changes, and it just isn't quite me anymore. The last time I had to go through this, it was because L'Heure Bleu got harder and harder to find. The worst was when Nina Ricci discontinued Farouche. THAT was really me.

I have to go to the mall and start testing. This could take MONTHS.

Any suggestions to narrow the search? The idea of spending weekends at the mall is daunting, to say the least.

What are some really good scents? Help!!

There are lots of good scents out there, just depends what you like. Do you prefer floral? fruity? spicy? scents!! That could help us pin point choices for you. :)

Nothing citrusy. Green is okay, but I do better with spice notes as well as the floral.

That is a great scent, CB; unfortunately, it's my sister's favorite.

It also doesn't smell right on me. Sigh.

Hmmmm Try Champs Elysee by Guerlain, you may like. Did you check Contradiction by CKlein?

Try Gucci "Envy". The Light of my Life has just started to wear it and it does wonders for me.
Paloma Picasso is nice too.

My OPinion

My personal opinion on scents - I like a clean smell. good soap and shampoo out of the shower. A woman does not need to wear (a lot) of perfume.
