I only plucked up the courage to ask a Volunteer Editor to look at my stories over the past week and was fortunate that Asylum Seeker not only agreed to edit my writing but has proven to be everlastingly patient in taking everything I have sent to him.

I know that it is a volunteer role and just wanted to say thank you to him for his patience in dealing with someone who can't get her head around the way things are spelt in North America - I am British and find American spelling hard to grasp.

I posted my thanks to him in each of the stories he edited - with a very clear proviso that any mistakes are entirely my own! None of them have been posted yet, though two have been submitted.

I really appreciate all he has done for me, as I know others appreciate the many VE's who help us all out.

Thank you!

And I have been rewarded by the opportunity to read some very good stories I otherwise would have missed. The road of thanks goes both ways.

Glad I could be of help <wink>.

Keep writing, you have great talent!

He's my editor too! Isn't he wonderful? I don't know what I'd do without him now. And yes, he is very patient with me, I umm sometimes add or take away after the looks at my story the first time. I'm sure it drives him crazy but he's always been so sweet about it.

And now I need to get back to writing.
