You are all such sweet, sweet poets! Several of you have commented to me privately about my poem Invasion.

Thank you for all the kind words. This poem is not about me personally. It is about my aunt, who at age 75, is facing this hideous disease. My poem was written for her, after talking with her and hearing her anger, disappointment and fear. She was once a beautiful woman by anyone's standards (still is, by mine) and it is difficult to watch her struggle.

I guess I 'over-succeeded' in capturing her pain...

Please keep her in your thoughts.
