I never though loitering in here would reap any pactical benfits for me.

But what do you know, here I sit owing it to you all in general and Lauren Hynde and BooMerengue in particular that I will hand in a successful paper on mnemic techniques tomorrow.

Mnemics is the science of the memory. How it works, and how we can train it to remember more. The assignment I had until tomorrow norning to complete was to construct a mnemic method, a routine to help you remember stuff, and one that had not been described in our course literature.

You guys taught me how it all went down in ye olde days for the poet-y kind, how the old bards wrote their shit. Yep, via Lauren's hyperchallange thingy, and some helpful posts by Boo (and others too, but Boo the most), I got the grips for real on iambs and regular meter. So that's what I wrote my paper about, how you can use a sonnet-esque form to build a multi layered memory matrix, where every syllable can be an individual reminder. A whole array of reminders, anctually.

This is where it is ok to look at me on odd ways. It sounds like gibberish, but it really works.

So :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: all around.

Wow, Liar! I had a hand in that? Pretty cool, but I'm sure the greatest kudos are Lauren's. She's the genius!

Thanks, babe!

Only you could combine a sonnet and mnemonics, lol. What a mind you have.

:D
