Well, Belle (If I may call you that), you definitely had me laughing. I know the whole work and home thing all too well. It is hard to get out there and meet new people when there is no one to go out -with-. Especially when you are female and do not like going out alone due to safety issues.

As for the meeting people bit, that is one of my goals for the new year as well. I only have two, so hopefully, I will succeed at both. *wink*

It can be scary going out alone. Do you have any clubs at all you can just go hang out at for an hour or two a week? What about friends at work?

No...There is one girl from work I can hang out with and I am trying to cultivate more, the only problem is that most of the ones my age seem to be married. *sighs*

As for clubs. I have been told of one nearby that should be safe...

Well keep working on it. What'saround that you could travel too for the weekend and maybe get a hotel room even if it's by yourself? If nothing else just to get away and feel like you did something different?

Well, that is actually a great idea. And I am hoping to meet some of my online friends soon. Maybe from here, but some from California as well. I will have to wait a bit for money to do it, but thanks!

Happy Saturday, y'all! It's probably been a month since I posted anywhere in Lit. Hell - it's been that long since I've had time to even READ anywhere in Lit!

Been a busybusy month - we spent the week of Christmas in some cabins in Oklahoma - down around Beaver's Bend (though now that I think of it, I didn't notice any beavers bending ... hmmmm ..... )

Very nice and different Christmas - very relaxed and laid back. That was particularly welcome, since the day after we got back, I plunged into a project at work that's had me running 60 hours a week until now. (whew - talk about tired!)

I haven't even had time to do any photography, though I'm trying to set up a few sessions in the next couple of weeks. I do have a few new pics that I took in early Dec. that I dropped into my Yahoo photos area - http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/eye_m_curious in case anyone would like to take a peek.

Nice to see the regulars keeping things going in here.

And belle - wooo! I just read a bit of your adventures! Sounds like you're starting the new year with a bang ... or several bangs!

Anyway - glad to have some time to peek back in - take care, y'all!

Temple here, I had a blast over the weekend. I met Rupert from Survivor at the Autorama in Waco on Saturday!!!!

It was great, he is such a sweet man.

I am about to go back to work but I will be back around 5:15 this evening.

Well, all...it is either way too late Monday night, or way too early Tuesday morning.

Was a decent weekend and I have tomorrow off, so it is lazy day except for laundry and the doc. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
