well I was going to the Super Nationals today but that got shot down this morning.. Perfect weather for racing too.. Love the smell of rubber and Nitro.. and 330 mph 1/4 mile runs..

I got off my deathbed to run Bloobie up to Circuit City to exchange the router we bought last month which decided to crap out. Seems it's 5 days past the 30 days we can exchange it. GGGGGRRRRRRRR Pretty convenient for them, huh?

We bought another one after Bloobie asked THREE times 'if this one doesn't work, can we bring it back'. It's going back this afternoon if I feel up to making the trip.

Isn't that annoying? Same kind of thing happened here this past week. My modem quit working and my warranty just went out. Thank goodness my mom didn't mind lending me her laptop. lol

I had a similar problem w/ a television I purchased when I was FIVE years old. I had done every odd job possible for my relatives and neighbors to raise the money. The tv pooped out on day#93. The repair cost was more expensive than the purchase price. Imagine - they wouldn't even extend the warranty for a sobbing 5 year old. To this day, I refuse to purchase Hitachi and we never purchased another thing from Service Merchandise. I think I am personally responsible for their demise. :nana:

Sadly no one will let you return something after 30 days except maybe Target they will take anything back.
Sometimes the extended warranity is worth it. I still remember buying a stereo for my truck at Best Buy. Went ahead and bought the extended 4 year warranity which included the installation..... I had that Clarion replaced twice switched brands and then had two pioneers installed until one finally lasted more than a few months. Twas worth it that time.... ;) I don't think Best Buy likes me anymore.

Another scary thing is the amount of people who think they know CPR but do it all wrong.

I had to take CPR in order to bring all three of my kids home from the hospital. (they were all very premature and the hospital required it before releasing them). I was amazed at the number of people in the classes that said they knew CPR but really didn't.

don't you just pull the cord out of a lamp or something, plug it in and hit them with the bare ends..
