Hey Tom. You know, for someone who doesn't have kids, you were great with them. Getting their drinks, etc.
Oh....remember how toward the end there you commented on how nice and quiet my Joey was? And how I laughed about that? Well, on the way home, once again, he was back to his usual NOISY self! LOL!

I really enjoyed meeting you and Sara. You're both very nice. I look forward to getting together with you guys again...and the rest of the gang.

I am so jealous. what did you guys end up doing anyway? I was stuck at home and ended up in bed early with a pain pill....yuck. did you eat at Rudys and did you eat some for me?

Pain pill? What's wrong?

No, not Rudy's. Pizza. LOL! Some place where the kids could run wild and we adults could talk in relative peace.

Good evening TX ......... from Georgia [/B]

I was recently in Savannah, came up by way of I-95 from I-10 from Texas, I liked it, Georgia is nice. I'll be going to New Jersey this week. I am not sure what to expect, but I bet I won't get sweet tea at breakfast from a sexy southern waitress!

I missed out too

I saw on the thread that some of you were getting together, but I knew I couldn't make it down there so just thought I would read about it afterwards. Maybe next time.

Hey RR. You interested in getting together with us San Antonio folks? Well, keep an eye on the SA thread. I'll try to remember to put you on the notification list (got a bad memory! LOL!). Wish you could have made it.

That goes for any others of you within visiting distance of San Antonio.

Houston Party

We missed it too, much to our chagrin! I hope we can plan another!

I understand about needing a place for the kids...My best friend just left with her 2 1/2 and 4 yr old. I love them to pieces and always try to not say bad things but goodness they were brats today - especially the 4 yr old. poor mom, spent all day studing her nursing and then had the kids refuse to listen to her and outright laughed in her face once......sometimes I wonder, do I really want to find a man and have his babies? (of course I do)

well, just remember to keep me up to date and I will try my darndest to get out that way....

pain pill

I so forgot to mention the pain pill...I have severe back pain and have to take a pill occasionaly to sleep or even be able to move. since X-mas it has been even worse and of course, I had to lose my back doctor to cancer last weekend so I am currently SOL in a big way. the MRI shows something new and the blood work is still out of whack....hey, just remebered I need to do some research and find out exactly what the norms are so I can see just how bad out of whack I am........be back in a bit

Yeah....it was fun last night. My kids had a GREAT time and my little girl hasn't stopped talking about the twins Daisy! She was really taken with them...and my son had fun playing with Joey.

And of course the adult company was great...was nice to be able to sit and visit knowing the kids were in good care with your girls.

Oh gosh, Minnie. Sorry to hear about that. Do they know what is wrong...or are they still waiting to find out?

Well, thank you Sara. We had a wonderful time, too. My girls are great mother hens...with other people's kids! LOL! Especially little girls like Sophia. Lizzy really enjoyed putting that glitter stuff on her!
I'm glad that Joey and Jonathan had fun; I was a bit worried about Joey because one never knows what kind of mood he will be in. I fear that he will get the bipolar diagnosis, like Emily (don't worry...she's on meds and she would never hurt a child).

The adult conversation was so much fun, I agree. We really do need to get together without kids!

I know, Sax....we missed you, too. We'll plan more in advance for the next one.

Ok...San Antonio area folks.....we need suggestions! LOL!

The San Antonio Home for Litizens

is now up. Please check it out and keep it running! Or posting. Or something like that.

minnie's back saga

they have no clue what is going on. I go in a couple of weeks to see my regular doc and I am sure he will send me to Dallas for a consult up there. all I know is that it is getting fixed this summer if I have to reach back there and do it myself.....oh, okay, I would never do that but it gets the frustration and pain across right? I am so tired of missing work and all that crap. not that I like my job but if I am going to miss work, I want to have fun not lay in bed drugged up the gazoo.

happy MONDAY folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love too. The guy who was my best man at my wedding has a place there in SA, unfortunately, he is out of state most of the time working. His youngest son and daughter-in-law still live there and I think that he works for the cable company down there, but I'm not sure as I haven't talked to him in a while.

Perhaps, If the wife and I can get down there sometime, we can meet some of ya'll. That may be difficult, as I work in a manufacturing plant, and they only have five paid holidays per year! That is a lot of driving to get down there on Sat. and be home in time to get some sleep to be back at work on Mon. Who knows, maybe things will work out so that we can.

Well, if you ever can make it, we'd love to have you. Sorry about you only having 5 paid holidays. I guess I'm spoiled to the military....seems like every time I turn around hubby and the kids are off from work and school! LOL!
