Texas Roll Call

it has been a great winter, and so far spring is nice, but it's getting hot outside, might have to restrict myself to "indoor activies" ;)

 Hi folks. Just checking in here from the far west reaches of Texas here in El Paso where it's always nice and dry.:D

Hello newcomers and Texans, welcome to Lit. Get comfy and have some fun.

Farm Animals???

Did somebody say Farm Animals?

Have you ever been goosed...
by a goose on the loose?
Followed them around and felt like a caboose?

You know that a goose knows no truce...
especially if they are running loose.

They may fly high over a moose.
But they'll run with a waddle from a noose.

And if you ain't never been goosed by
a goose on the loose.
Try to walk where they roost.

Now don't bend over around a goose.
Stand up tall and keep your clothes loose.

Cause you'll be in trouble if a pair is a deuce.
Then you will surely be goosed by a goose.

Way too many years ago for me to admit the date, I was in Denton in college. Ended up marrying a man that went to NTSU (Iwas at TWU across town). Is it still the bible belt buckle from hell up there?

New to Texas

Hey there all, I am fairly new to Texas, got transfered to Amarillo in march of last year with my job. This is a great place to live, I like it here. I have to admit, west Texas has NOTHING on Kansas. LOL Windy and flat LMAO. BTW I am single   ;)

Hey Mating_Wolf, have you been to the Palo Duros Canyons yet? They're BEAUTIFUL!

Palo Duro Canyon

Have not been there yet, since I moved here, but was there when I was 16, had a blast sliding down the Devil's Backbone, heard they closed it off cause someone got killed sliding down it. Dont think I would want to try it again though, ya know, the older ya get, the more intune you are with your mortality. LMAO

I never liked it much when I was out that way awhile back. Guess I'm just used to seeing trees everywhere here in Central Texas LOL I could easily see myself going nuts being out there more than I was.....but to each their own :p
