i am so glad that other folks from around texas are finding this thread. it gladdens the heart of this gal muchly so.

i think we should invite those texans that live elsewheres but still have texas in their hearts. that should open the floodgates wide.

Hey Rhody:

What should we do about all those Texans that are Texan by choice. I know that I was born in Lubbock a few years ago, but my slave/wife was not born in Texas. She is a Texan by choice and has been in the Houston area for over 25 years now.

Weather in Houston

This weather is absolutely wonderful, I still love a good strong thunderstorm now and then though. :)

Now, if only Houston's air was cleaner...

Just think - every time it rains the air gets cleaner, and then comes the good ole summer time. At least with temps like this we can get out and enjoy the outdoors. Like going for walks or bike rides - life is grand

Life is grand my dear, just not so grand when we are apart. I will be home Friday and then things will be right again in our little world.

Love you my dear slave Lady Bear

let's make them honorary texans, hell if it makes this thread longer, i'm all for it. we have enough transplanters here in texas that i know i could over look their lack of proper birth. as long as they realize that i do tease them about there 'yankee' upbringing. lol

Happy Birthday Minnie!!!

And lord knows we need a good cleaning once in a while. LOL the air gets a little thick now and then.
I hope your right about more and more people getting on the thread and that sooner or later we will meet up with some.
