Texas Roll Call

Friendswood

Rhody, your pic was nice. And gravity is not a bad thing, it helps keep us all planted firmly on the ground...LOL Even when we are flying mentally...LOL

Gray hair is not a bad thing, especially if that is what God inteneded our hair to look like. I like my gray hair and so does my slave.

Here is a pic of my slave.

rhody [no more go tell aunt rhody about the old gray goose being dead]

Waves from east Texas~

So I come here like a Clown...
Unicycle paddleing around.
Big
red shoes..flower print shirt of blue..
Honkin my horn...Beep Beep
pull you with my rod like lil bo peep
squirt you with water from a flower...:rose:
dive into a bucket from a tall tower...(not)
little poodles dance around.
leaving lil mounds on the ground.
I hold up a sign..
"watch were you step."
reach in my pocket where my stuff is kept
pull out a flower and hand it to you..:rose:
my pants suddenly grew and grew..
I have a mound of my own too.
I try to push it back as I look at you.
that just made it grow a new.
I turn red as my shoe.
Hidden by my painted
red cheeks.
blushing and shuck's-ing as if I were meek.
Till my mound has reached its peak.
looking for a hole to dive in I seek
Then I smile and wave at you and grin
you know Ill be back again.

You won't find any of that here. We're all boring and prude and narrowminded. ;)

I've always wondered what the hell was in Lubbock.

Oh man I hear that almost as bad as Huntsville

Who was it that said that happiness is Lubbock in your rearview mirror? I was born there, but I got out about 6years later, by the grace of God, and have never had any inclination to return.
The only reason I even look at West 82 is because my sister lives there.

Mac Davis sung that in the song by the same title...

I moved to Lubbock from sunny California, and I've regretted the decision ever since. Anyone care to help me brighten my days? I have yet to find what is special about this place... but college is free, so I can't leave yet.

oh come on, west texas cannot be all that bad.....grasp at the differences and see their unique contributions.....

west texas

i used to live in el paso whish is avout as far west texas you can get except for beautiful downtown newman. [el paso folks will know what that means].

beign a desert rat, i learn to appreciate the simple beauty of landscapes like el paso. while the drive out there is rather boring, it does perk up one' heart to finally see the mountain range that the city surrounds.

rhody

Ex El Pasoan also

I lived in El Paso as a child in the mid 60's and returned there as an adult in mid 1994. I loved the scenery.

see, I knew I was not the only one that sees the strange beauty that West Texas has to offer. Granted I have not had the chance to see El Paso but I have been as far west as Kermit Texas and has far east at Texarakan and as far south as Corpus.....

Each area has its own unique qualities that makes it dear to my heart....traffic not being one of them

I've yet to see anything further West than Austin... or anything North of Dallas.

So I guess it will be a while before I can talk about the other places where people live :D

One day I'll travel... one day :)

PS: *bump*

Well Hey, you can talk about where you have been.....or anything else you want to talk about.....
