I'm ready. I was one of the lucky ones that didn't lose power last year (I think I'm on the same grid as a hotel), and I'm all stocked up on food, water, and warm clothes to go exploring if things get all pretty and frosty again!

Already starting to get icy here by Austin, be safe out there y'all.

Yea i lost power full week last year. DFW area here. Not fair how schools were closed before even out yesterday. They dont get to sit and wait for it to scroll across the screen

The schools send out texts alerts to everyone for closings now anyway, no more having to get up early and watch the scrolling on TV.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Last year was a mess.

There have been power losses. There were over 20,000 people without power in San Antionio quite a while today. I think last I saw 6,000 still didn't have power. About 25,000 in DFW area as well.
