My dog is 16 years old and is about to turn 17. He is deaf and partially blind. At this point, the vet and I agreed he will be allowed to eat just about anything he wants to eat. He is not over weight. He has a good blood pressure. And the vet says he has the heartbeat of a 2 year old dog.

If I am having a delivered pizza once a month, he gets to celebrate that, too.
