Actually, when I discovered the Literotica site I shared it with her and she read some of the stories. While she enjoyed what she read, she confessed that she would really rather watch two (or more) people having sex than read about it. So, we're slowly growing (*ahem!*) our video/DVD collection. However, she also becomes rather aroused and, dare I say it, animalistic when some nature program we're watching shows a pair of mating lions (or tigers or elephants or wolves or foxes or bears or....)

Oooh.....sounds awesome! Wish you guys lived in this area instead of up north! I'd ask if I could go watch movies with you! *grin*

... lions and tigers and bears ....? Oh, my!

(Come on now - don't tell me y'all weren't thinking the same thing!)

Welcome to Lit, Taoist - I'm in your neck o' the woods - just south of you in Fort Worth.

Hope you enjoy it here!

... hmmm ... if Taoist is young at 35, then I'm *almost* young at 41 ...

oh, wait - i forgot - "old" is always at least one generation past me. I've got a 22 year old friend who just had her birthday and was proclaiming herself old, so I had to explain - "officially" she won't be old until she's at least 20 years older than me ... and then we'll decide. That rule seemed to sit well with her.

Now just *try* and tell me that you're old, Blue. The second rule is that, in order to be old you have to act it. *bzzzzzz* - sorry, that disqualifies you.

Hehehe....well, Rich, I sure FEEL old! lol But....I am older than you by a couple of years.

I'm a photographer, so that makes me an official card-carrying voyeur as well.

What do I watch? Everything! From animals to people to trees to mountains, doing that particular voodoo that they do so well.

As Robinson Jeffers wrote, "... all the arts lose virtue against the essential reality of creatures going about their business among the equally earnest elements of nature."

Of course, that includes all the naughty behaviors as well, though with the trees and mountains, those are a little harder to spot.

Yes, "avian voyeurism" would be bird-watching, though I wouldn't put down the binocs if I noticed a pair going after it. In fact, I would probably hand the binocs to the wife (if she was around) - she likes to watch, and animals are no exception! (Just don't tell her you heard it from me... LOL!!)

And thank you for your advice and compliments, BlueDaisy; you are too kind! *blush!*

You're a photographer, too! How great is that! I've been a "hobby" shooter for a long time, and even did a couple of semi-professional stints. My wife is a pro shooter, and I assist her with portraits and weddings. Her main love, though, is artistic "entropy" subjects - forgotten, collapsing barns and fences and such. I'm more into wildlife photography (esp. birds, natch!), though scenic landscapes appeal to me as well. And I have another good friend who has done sex photography. Well, plant sex anyway, fungi in particular (she's a mycologist). Rich, you sound like a man after my own heart; it's a pleasure to meetcha!

I’ve been shooting for about 7 years now – a little bit of everything. This past year, I’ve been trying to work with a little more discipline – and less simply “shooting on impulse”. I love performance shots – bands or sports – simply for the challenge of *catching* the ideal moment.

I’ve put a bunch of projects on my plate for 2003, many of which are still sitting on the plate (alas - life happens, ya know) – from a b&w noir series I’m arranging w/ a female friend for downtown FW to some more abstract color studies.

I’ve also forced myself to think through my personal aesthetic a little more rigorously – so again, my images have greater consistence and aren’t simply the notion of the moment.

Love the entropy shots – I’ve always been fascinated with history, and particularly then and now shots, old buildings that “wear” their history, or signs of subtle human impact on a space). Myself, I’m moving more toward photos that include people that don’t feature them – environments that can stand by themselves, but are affected by human presence, without the person being the focus – a kind of nature-and-society-in-balance image. Balance is always nice.

Anyway – it’s a pleasure to meet you, too!

I like your wife's subjects! I'd love to see her work! (yours, too, but her topic sounds more intriguing to me...sorry! *grin*)

Photos and Such

Okay, I checked with the wifeling and she said that she would be happy to let me post some of her work on my webpage, as soon as she can figure out where it is! She said, "I think they're in there somewhere," waving towards the garage.

I'll keep you posted. Oh, and no offense taken, Blue, about my subjects versus my wife's; I kinda think that her subjects are more interesting than my own, too! <Grin!>

Stay warm, all!

Hope everyone is well and happy this holiday season - and hope the newcomers enjoy this place as much as the rest of us do!

Just droppin by and saying hi:D

Anyone else have no real plans for tonight?

Re: Hello everyone.

I can understand why you would THINK that way..

but on the flip side to that coin... some men are just shy to be heard or seen.... some woman too... takes all kinds and if you base your concept of finding someone special in your life on weather or not they post......if they do.. then great.. look into their soul without any effort on your part... but if they dont post... then your telling us you dont want to take the time to know them....

and then...your missing out

and so are we.. the shy

il probably never come back here again, but if anyone is interested .... im dfwdelivery@yahoo.com

I am in the South Houston area (as it described over there to the left).

I have been here enough to have posted all over the boards and am a regular. I don't write stories but I like to attempt to encourage a smile or especially a good belly laugh. (Read my personal ad to see what I mean--respond if you want!)

Hhhhmmm.... I don't know what else to write here--well, yeah--there is one thing--if you are here trying to pick up somebody--it might be beneficial for you to prove you are stable enough by posting and interracting and participating in various parts of the board. The guys who send me messages or responded to my postings who have less than 100 posts are generally ignored.

44 y.o. single (never married) straight male here, currently up in Richardson (Dallas) but also spend a lot of time in Austin.
