Hello fellow Texans, especially SA

Been a member awhile, two stories published, just now exploring the site, really want to get rid of the virgin tag, as I have not been one in life longer than I was one! Just want to associate with my fellow residents from the greatest state in the union!

Welcome to our merry group! There are a bunch of Litsters in your area. You shouldn't have much trouble finding them. Hope you have lots of fun!

Transplanted to Texas from the Midwest in 1971 & never left. I am 43, in a long term relationship & live in the DFW metroplex. I have been here at Lit for a little over 2 years, but not a regular poster for the last few months. Love living in Texas & been in the Metroplex since 1987, lived in Amarillo from 1971-1987 & can't imagine living anywhere else.

Nah, Biker...you aren't scary. You look kinda like some of my cousins!

One question about the picture, though...is that writing under the tattoo on your chest?

Hey...my Ft. Worth question for you. Do you ever ride your Harley over on the west side of town, around the Ridgmar Mall area? We used to live at what was Carswell AFB (now the JSRB). Do you know what has become of the off-base housing areas...one was right off of the highway (183? can't remember for sure) that runs past Ridgmar Mall, and the other one in Westworth Village. Can't recall the name of the street that runs past that area. It was right across the street from the Westover Hills golf course. Dayless was the name of the street we lived on in that housing area, before we moved to the one off of the highway.

Thanks.....

ft worth

hey daisy. yeah that is writing on my chest. seemed to be a good philosiphy in my younger days, but ya know how that goes.
I t says"Roses are red, violets are blue
This aint gonna rhyme, but ya wanna fuck?"
No, just kidding. It says "Walk the way you ought to
Talk the way you want to
and if anybody bothers you
just punch em in the eye"

Like I said it seemed like a good idea in the 70's. But back then seems like everything was a good idea......................I think.

W Ft Worth. Yeah I use to live in white settlement around 95 - 96. Had a friend who lived off 183. he had a blue shovelhead and i was riding the one in the pic i posted. same one im riding these days

That's cute, Biker. Nice "poem"! LOL! Don't think I've ever known anyone who has poetry tattooed on his or her body!

OK....you used to live in White Settlement....but do you know what was done with the old Carswell AFB housing????? I"m dying to know. Don't know why, just am! LOL!
Thanks,
Blue

BlueDaisy -- you might want to talk to Vinny also. I think he goes out there frequently (like twice a month or more) and may also be able to answer some of your questions.
