Maybe....if the cars were out of the way. Got your glove with you?

Who needs a glove? I will just catch the richocet off of someone who brought their glove but can't catch. There's a reason why the pro's are playing and we are watching.

Yes, P-ville is Pflugerville. :D You win a prize! I am not sure what yet, though. ;)

A litogether would be great fun...I am not sure about who, when, or where, but I am on as well. I wouldn't mind helpingout with the planning, either. I would really like to get to know more people from this area. :D

SHo

I am in Round Rock (just north of Pflugerville) and would love to help out with the planning as well. Just let me know. I am new to the board, but would love to get to know everyone in the area.

No I didn't go but it was nice to see Berkman make it to the finals. Now if Phil Garner can just get this team started winning some games I would be happy.

Hehe, more of an inside joke... but I have a lot of pet turtles. :)

*sniggles* Personally, I like snakes, but don't currently have any. Then again...I like almost all pets. :D

I love snakes as well, but sadly they get a bit to big for me after a while... I had a pet speckled king snake once, was a beautiful snake, but when it started moving up to large rats for food I decided to let it go in a large pasture about 10 miles out of town.

I've always been an animal person :D

I am also an animal person. That is true, though...Once snakes reach a certain size, they become more difficult to handle. You must have taken good care of it for it to get that big, though. I know most snakes that are sold into captivity from pet stores don't last a real long time because people don't do their research about handling and care. It is the same with ferrets and other non-traditional pets. I am sure you have seen it with turtles as well. It's hard to find good vet care for the non traddie pets, too.

Currently, we just have one dog and two cats, and my boyfriend also has a dog.

How many pets do you have?

Yeah, I've actually never really gone to the vet for anything. Usually the key to keeping reptiles healthy is to give them natural sunlight and real food (instead of those pelits you can buy). Occasionaly a turtle will get sick though, usually when that happens I will just stick it in a large container and put a warm light on it for a few days to dry the turtle out a bit.

Usually you can treat animals about the same as you would treat a human to have them recover. :)

Two dogs, used to have cats but for some reason they loved the road... a somewhat annoying parrot, and then there is the turtles. I lost count of the true total, but there is close to twenty adults in the habitat I have for them outside. There is at least ten known hatchlings and about eight young ones... So there's quite a few in there! :)

Wow! lots of tutrtles! I couldn't handle the parrot. Literally. Domesticated birds don't seem to like me. Wild ones I don't have any problems with, but the caged type hate me.

WS: I haven't met you, but I like the name. ;)

*looks around* When did the thread get a vibrating bed?

Thanks for the smile, Mogwai, I needed it today. :(

You're welcome babe, it's good to know I make people smile. :)

Well...On that particular day, I needed a smile badly. My Grandfather passed away yesterday. It is still tough going for me, but life has to go on. One truly doesn't have a lot of choice.

I hope you are doing well, Mogwai.
