Apparently the rascals boarded a privately chartered jet and are planning to stay in DC until the legislative session ends. It is very difficult to see how they win with this stunt but it will be amusing to follow. It failed a decade ago and seems destined to fail again.

So why don't one of you explain to me why 24-hour voting, drive-through voting, more ballot drop boxes and other such things banned in their bill have to do with election security? Convince me what they want to pass is a legitimate reaction to a legitimate concern. I'm all ears.

At some time they have to come back to Texas to keep their jobs. When they do, they will be arrested. A formal extradition request can be made to the Capitol Police for their arrest, if approved they could be taken in front of the Chief Judge of the DC Superior Court who would then approve or disapprove the request. If approved they could be turned over to Texas law enforcement and returned to Texas. However, The Speaker of the House could issue an arrest order for those members and have them turned over to Texas authorities, but we know Nancy Pelosi would not do her duty in that regard. She would only do that with Republicans facing extradition.

They fled because they felt it was okay to be derelict in their duty, and because it was the only way to subvert the democratic process they are sworn to uphold.
