Hi all. I had very itchy balls for ages and it was driving me crazy. One day in desperation and curiosity I took a scoop of my wife's hand creme and applied it to the area. On top of the expected lubrication of my junk there was a cooling relief that was amazing. Regular lotion doesn't seem to have the same qualities (hers was coconut oil lotion, I think). Does anyone else use this technique, and are there any products out there made for this purpose? My wife no longer uses the hand cremes and I can't remember the name.

Never really had that issue. Any time mine have itched it was normally because of hair. Could see how moisturizing could help though.

Try something like an jock itch powder, or cream. Or even just Gold Bond Medicated Powder in the Yellow jar. (FYI the foot powder has much more menthol. It's more effective and will tingle more.)

And if that doesn't work there's always GoldStar Ointment, I think it advertised that cures everything, but it might tingle a bit.

Or Vicks vapor rub, (the hell with Windex, that's my cure for everything).

There's a product I use called; PREBIOTIC, made by Tom's of Maine. It's primarily an underarm natural deodorant. The label says; Helps Support Good Bacteria To Keep keep skin in healthy balance.

Gold Bond Spray. A quick spritz after showering and drying off well. But if it's super persistent, perhaps a doctor/dermatologist visit is warranted? Nothing to be ashamed of, and they can help resolve the problem rather than just throwing a symptom relief at it.

give em a good scrub with this - that'll solve it

Shave them clean. And then use unsalted butter. I always find this reduces prickly heat and it acts as a fine moisturiser and gives them an incredible shine.

Jock Itch is a rash in your genital area, including your balls. What are the causes of this skin infection?
  • Tight clothing
  • Humidity
  • Heat
  • Moist skin folds due to excessive sweating or obesity
Tight-fitting clothes tend to rub and chafe the skin, making it more prone to the condition. If you wear briefs, you may consider switching to boxers.

I am a nudist and shave my cock and balls regularly and use moisturiser to ensure my skin doesn't get too dry.

I’m a nudist as well, but I shave everything.I sweat very little, and little itching as well.

When I go smooth I use moisturisers to reduce itching but the longer you stay smooth the itching becomes less annoying.

Use unsalted organic butter. You’ll see and feel the difference.

I shave everything. In my 20’s I developed psoriasis, and to relieve chafing my Dr said to shave,so I shaved everything. It’s funny after a short time no itching,so I shave every 3 days or so,depends on the occasion coming up.
