<sigh>Someday I'm going to go back and find out just how many times I've explained this in just this thread.</sigh>

Attachments are NOT images and will not work with the IMG tags.

Attachments are an "image source" and will work with the HTML "img src=" syntax, but HTML code only works in signature lines, NOT in posts.

The IMG tags require a URL of an image and ONLY a URL of an image. The URL MUST end in a file type identifier that the vBulletin software recognises as an image file -- i.e. JPG, GIF, or BMP (possibly TIF and a couple of others, but I've never seen anything but JPG, GIF and BMP successfully linked.)

Quite simply, you can't. Literotica's configuration of the vBulltein software is specifically set to prevent attachments from displaying automatically because the server load involved in accesing an attachment database as big as Literotica's slows down access to everything else.

If you absolutely MUST force us everyone to download your pictures everytime they open or refresh a thread, then you have to upload them to a website that allows hotlinking directly to the image file -- angelfire and geocities and most other free webhosting sites block hotlinking.

There are a couple of threads in this forum that have several suggestions for free sites that do allow hotlinking.
