I can't sleep sitting up. On the flight out to Vegas two years ago I envied the little woman two rows up that didn't have anyone sitting next to her and could relax on all three seats in her row

And I have to only partially agree with #3. They are right that you shouldn't ask for first class when on the plane. but you should ask before you board. My parents got upgraded for free once just because may father had the nerve to ask (and is such a charming fellow ).
