I just wanted to apologize to anyone who posted on the "I'm A Stupid Retard, Please Spank Me" thread. Because of the content of the first post, I nuked the whole thread. It's extremely rare for me to delete a post that doesn't have the words "AllAdvantage" or "Free Russian Pussy" in it, but in this case I made an exception.

As far as the person who made the post, and probably some of the responses as well, I'll keep an eye on things and see if anything further happens (in other words - you know who you are, you'd better stop it now). Hopefully, this was just the result of someone breaking the 11th commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Post While Drunk Off Your Ass".

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Yes, Thumper, I have had to do that. I was trying to retrieve a tax refund check, and the only thing that made the whole ordeal worthwhile (I found it in with some banana peels) was the look on the teller's face when I deposited it.

Threats of personal harm were made against a user by an anonymous poster. As Lasher, Harold, and others with tech knowledge know, it takes only a second for us to match IP's to registered users. If it happens again, we will track the IP of both this anonymous poster and the next one. We will find out who is doing this, and action will be taken. Period. We take this very seriously.

As you (and the other's) are fairly aware, I'm relatively knew and real damn clueless. Sure, logic and my innate awareness of what is right or wrong - hah - plays into this. So, for the sake of my education and other newbie's - add, correct or clarify what I understand to be the rules....

Overly violent stuff, obviously life threats, child sex stuff, spam/scam/chain/solicitation for monetary gain stuff - (What about charity solicitation? My hunch is a no-no.)

Their are gray areas of course - political opinion that swings toward political promotion - where the hell is that line?
