Tell the tale of how you met...

it was 18 months ago

i was hitch-hiking, this lovely red head came zoooooooooming by me and slammed on her brakes. she slammed her vette into reverse, backed up and screeched to a stop next to me. it was love at first sight. i hopped in and she smoked her tires as she sped away. she was looking for a place to get a stick shift and a lube job. yes that went thru my mind too. i directed her to a little greasy garage i knew of on the wrong side of town. she roared in and slammed on the brakes right over the lube rack. she opened her door and slid out of her seat very seductively. my what a body she had, i ask her what she had in mind for a stick shift, and with a sly smile she said she may just settle for a shaft......GULP..well we have been together and lubing quite regularly now. she still has her classic curves and those knobs i love to adjust. nothing like a classic lady, she puts the new models to shame. lets see now...I met my last love...damn it was a long time ago...umm lets see it would be 7 or 8 years ago. I was at a campsite with a friend of mine and we went for a walk around midnight or so, and we ended up walking over to the next campsite. My friend went to the bathroom, and I waited out back when I saw her. She was sitting there with a friend, so I went over to talk to them (just being friendly). Then all 4 of us ended up walking around for a couple of hours and the whole time I was talking to her...I didn't know that I liked her at the time, but I couldn't get her out of my head, so about a week or two later I looked up her number and called her...I was relieved that she was happy to hear from me.
Not very romantic I know, but I was 14 at the time, and we ended up dating up until 6mo ago (with a few problems in the middle), and were even supposed to get married and everything...so to me, its a very special memory :) and now you can share it with me

What else can I say but.....WOW!!! *fanning self*

Welllllll......
All of the above is true. Except for a few minor differences. I did pick up a hitch hiker. (yeah, Mom I know you said never to do that) He was a charmer...had a way with his tongue, he did. After we drove awhile he started adjusting my knobs and fiddling with my glove box button. Then he asked if I wanted a new shifter installed. Well, my engine was overheating at that point so I followed his directions to that garage on the wrong side of town and he has been my mechanic ever since.
Hmmmmmmm ....... I do believe it's time for a lube job. ;)
