Telegram Discord, Signal thread. Kind of similar to the kik app thread.

For those who dislike kik, let's make one for those individuals who love Telegram, Discord and Signal.

So who is interested?

For me I actually have all 4 but I use the kik less.

I use Telegram. It’s the only app I trust (mostly because I’m tech challenged and can’t figure others out easily).

Telegram encryption is the best!

Ability to delete entire chats for both parties is also the best data control out there.

Telegram is good I've been using it for a decent amount of time. Best option for chatting long term.

Kik is well we all know Kik. Only thing this does better than other options is it's easy to find chats.

Discord also use.

I have wondered about telegram. I think there are ways to establish anonomously. Some things imply that must be.

It's probably the better option for long term chatting

You can hide the telephone number fron view but yes it's connected

Yeah. I tired Sesson for a bit, but it was taking  hours for pictures to go through that I moved on.

Session works well for me. Months ago there was a problem with slow picture transmission but has been timely lately.
P.S. I only access Session on my Windows desktop.

And it may have been just a bad time, but it was getting real frustrating at that time

I do have both Telegram and Signal for anyone who's interested.

I used Skype when I had a chat partner. With Microsoft fucking it to death, we sometimes considered other sites. They all had more steps or requirements to use.

Have telegram but barely use it.. don't like that the phone number is associated with it.
Have Kik, but that only opens you up to spam.. in fact haven't used it in months but..
Would love to find people using an app all agree on

Voting for Signal. Light, fast, needn't show a phone number. Group-capable.

And not for nothing, it's their encryption method (open source) that everyone else uses and so far as anyone knows, hasn't been cracked (I assume the NSA has, but they haven't shared that with other agencies). No metadata, no logs.

I have been using Google Chat with a bogus address.
If voice or video is desired, Google Meet works well
All over internet and no phone number required
