haqueil Reagan has a new job — one that he doesn't have to trek 10 miles in snow, ice and slush to get to.

The 18-year-old Indianapolis youth was hired by a sympathetic restaurant owner who crossed paths with the teen as he was trudging nearly 10 miles in inclement weather to get to an interview last week for another job that paid minimum wage.

"I said, 'Well, how come you're not on the bus?' He said, 'I can't afford the bus until I get a job,'" Art Bouvier, owner of Papa Roux in Indianapolis, told Fox 59.

I love stories like that.
Sweet, determined kid. Nice guy who gives him employment and accolades and the kindness of strangers.

These stories always start out great but most end badly. Every time you hear about someone helping a homeless person a few weeks later you find out the homeless person used the gift to buy drugs and rob an old lady.
I swear, people suck ass.

ha! I thought the same thing, pointless

don't be such a debbie downer, bitch!

- I always think that people suck but then bad stuff happens and my mind gets changed. Currently where we live we've had something happen in our community and it makes my heart happy how people are pulling together and being so giving and kind to those in need.
