Ninja turtles were the greatest...me and my little brother and just about everyone we hung out with in my neighborhood had a huge obsession with the green machines. We had a huge collection of the turtle toys that we would play with and get together to have just massive battles against the evil bad guys.

Ah, the good old days.

When I was younger my cousin who was a few years behind me would love to carry my schoolbag on the way home from school, wearing it in the front of his body as to simulate having a shell. It was so cute but now he's older and in that weird awkward stage so I, of course, tease him to death about it.

Just recently I took him out Christmas shopping for his Mom and sister. While we were in the middle of a very busy department store I handed him my pocketbook and said "turtle power?" followed by few chuckles. There was an attractive girl not to far away and he did not find it amusing.

Hey I was Leonardo for Haloween back in 4th grade.
He was definetly my favorite.

I think of all the cartoons from my childhood, Ninja Turtles is the one I have the fondest memories of.

I heard they might be comingn out with a new movie soon, computer animation.
