Teen Titans: Fast Forward (OOC)

Original characters have the same preferences as the other Teen Titan thread you made Jeff? I won't go with LOBO again...promise :D

Basically, any character works so long as it is not too over-powered. Like, my most powerful character is Superboy, but I'm thinking of there being a prominent supply of artificial kryptonite in the future. Like, maybe in this future, Lex Luthor created many clones of Superman, and rebel forces were able to engineer more kryptonite to fight them or something. Just an idea. I also like the idea of the original Superman having turned evil in this future, and an older and war-scarred Terry McGinnis leads a rebel force made from the descendants of the Justice League or something.

Lil Bo

Name: Lil Bo
Age: 19
Eyes: Red
Hair: Black
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 270lbs
Powers: Strength, Tracking and Advanced Healing Factor
History: After the ability to replicate himself has been removed from Lobo's blood, a drop of blood was used to grow a genetically altered version of Lobo. He came out looking just like Lobo, but the genetic tampering have stripped him of most of Lobo's powers. In addition he is more civilized and lacks the will for major destruction and massacre. Lil Bo grew up knowing he was different, but tried everything to fit in with the rest, it was a hard time, but he also learned from it. Lil Bo have turned 19 and is a vigilante who kills of monsters and collects bounties for money, much like The Main Man himself.
Weapons: Anything that is big, has lots of ammo and can deliver one mean punch. Knuckle dusters. A Knife (Yes comes with sheath, sweet hey?)

Future citizen :) Thought that with the cloning and everything going on it would be hard to actually grow Lil Bo with current technology. So in the past 25 years, they perfected it and you have...Lil Bo

Okay, cool. Haven't decided exactly how far in the future they go, but I was thinking maybe somewhere between like 2075-2100 or something. Let's see... Here's an idea for a timeline:

2011: The Teen Titans are sucked into Dr. Light's time warp.

2011-2015: The Justice League and Doom Patrol stage a massive search and rescue to find the missing Titans. Nobody knows where they are or why they mysteriously vanished. They eventually have no choice but to give up. Except for Batman, who desperately wants to find them -- he and Nightwing had said very hurtful things to each other when last they spoke.

2021: On the ten year anniversary of the Titan's disappearance, Bruce Wayne relapses into a state of depression, and it effects his crime-fighting ability to the point that he nearly gets himself killed. Realizing that he is not as young as he once was, and that he is obviously emotionally compromised, Bruce retires as Batman and lets other heroes continue on without him.

2022: Cadmus Labs, funded by Luther Industries, attains a sample of Batman's blood from one of the last times he was seen. They analyze it to see if he really had any powers or not. But secretly, the blood is used by lead researcher Warren McGinnis to modify his own DNA, hoping to attain the same abilities as Batman. The project is a success, but because he is already fully grown, it does little to change his body. He decides to get his wife pregnant over the New Year and see if his child would become the new Batman.

2023: Terry McGinnis is born, and testing proves that Batman's DNA did indeed pass on to him.

2029: When Terry is six, Warren has him take Karate lessons and other endeavors to try and mold him into a future crime-fighter. But this eventually just turns him into an angry child.

2037: When Terry is fourteen, he becomes a petty thief, and briefly associates with a street gang. He and his gang break into the old Wayne Manor to steal valuables, and run into Bruce Wayne himself. The old man tries to fight the kids off, but they outnumber him. The leader of the gang, Charlie Bigelow, is about to beat the fallen senior with a bat, but Terry steps in front of him and tells him that's enough. The gang converges on Terry instead, but suddenly, sirens sound, and they all take off out of the mansion. Except for Terry, who stays behind to make sure Bruce is alright. When the police arrive, Terry turns himself in and explains everything.

After three months of juvenile detention, Terry is released, determined to set his life straight. In order to pay Bruce back for the damage caused when they broke in, he agrees to come and work for him every day after school.

2039: After two years of working for Bruce, Terry accidentally discovers he used to be Batman, but agrees to keep it secret. But when his father is murdered, he steals the batsuit and attempts to get revenge. Bruce eventually accepts Terry as the new Batman, aiding him from the Batcave.

2044: Lex Luthor's health is failing as he gets older, and since his son, Alexander Luthor Jr., is an active protestor of his criminal activities, Lex fakes his own death and has his brain transferred to Alex's body. Alex had been a popular politicial voice, and Lex continues to portray this while running his company.

2048: Alexander Luthor is elected President of the United States, and no one knows that he is really Lex, that the real Alex died four years ago when his brain was removed from his body by his father.

2049-2050: Lex deliberately causes relations to go sour between Russia and China, through a network of spies and hired international villains. A war breaks out, pulling other nearby nations into the conflict. Lex sends American troops to protect civilians, and enacts a superhero draft, ordering all metahumans to go to the warzone. At the same time, his spies cause other conflicts to arise between nations in the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

2051: Due to Lex's secret endeavors, he successfully initiates World War III.

2052: Since Lex is a great leader to the public eye, he is elected for a second term and continues to lead a "good" effort in the war.

2053: In an attack on American soil, most of Congress is killed, and Lex has them replaced with many of his secret agents through rigged elections and emergency appointments. Most of the U.S. East Coast is caught up in the battle, and Lex relocates the capitol to Los Angeles.

2056: With the ongoing chaos in the world, Lex's controlled Congress allows him to seek a third term as President, which he wins through rigged elections.

2057: Lex ultimately gains control over what remains of the United Nations through his network of affiliates, and gradually, the other countries are either destroyed or they surrender. Or they flee and later form rebel groups. In the end, World War III is over, and Lex is placed as the new President of the United American Nations.

Many superheroes have caught on to what he is doing, and have either been killed, employed, or gone into hiding to join the rebel groups. The older Terry McGinnis eventually works his way up to a rebel leader.

Due to the strikes on the East Coast, most of it is abandoned, with monsters roaming around, humans and animals that have been mutated from new versions of biological weapons. Lex declared it a dead zone and erected a giant wall going from the Florida panhandle all the way up through Canada.

2082ish: 71 years after they vanished and 25 years after the war ended, the Teen Titans suddenly appear in a shattered New York City, roaming with monsters.

Just one of my ideas. Whatcha think?

Duh. *glomps again*

Welllllll since you so insist that I play Starfire I suppose I can whip up a bio.

I'm gonna have to like watch Teen Titans on youtube or something to remind myself of how she acts exactly. I just know that you love love love it when Tears plays her, so i didn't want to step on any toes.

Tears did an awesome Star, but she hasn't really commited to my games for years, lol. I invited her to come play, but even if she does, she'd probably just do Kara, so you wouldn't be stepping on any toes. Besides, with her always vanishing, I want someone else to play my love interest, if you were still planning to take Star in that direction :). No offense, Tears! :):):)

Real Name: Koriand'r

Alias
: Starfire

Age:
19

http://i806.photobucket.com/albums/yy345/princesssexci/Starfire_by_Q_tan_chan.jpg

Features:
As is typical of the Tamaranean race, Starfire has orange skin and completely green eyes . Her hair is also unusually long and thick compared to that of humans.

Personality:

Starfire is happy, pretty, naive and somewhat insecure, but her naivete is not to be mistaken for stupidity, though it is this naivete that endears her to others, especially to Robin. She and Robin are the closest out of all the Titans, and he takes time out to explain the ways of Earth to her. An alien and an outsider, she is still rather new to Earth and its customs. (For example, she did not understand what a boy meant when he asked if she was "Diggin' the scene" when she was at a party, and stated, confused, "I did not know we were supposed to bring shovels.") This leads to much confusion for her and others, such as the awkwardness in casually drinking mustard and thinking cotton candy and cotton balls are the same thing. This strange behavior has made leeway for a LOT of comedy throughout the series. She takes friendship very seriously, and is easily distressed when others, especially her friends, argue or fight.

She is arguably the most social of the Titans, regularly meditating with Raven, or lifting weights with Cyborg. Above all, she wishes to be friends with everyone she meets, and for everyone to get along. She also insists on sharing her own customs with other members of the team (such as providing a crown of raw meat to be worn on one's birthday), but doesn't generally take offence when they don't understand or refuse her. In one instance, she lies about a holiday celebrated by destroying drapery and blows up a window to explain an accidentally torn curtain; an act that barely registers as odd behavior by the others. Presumably because English is not her first language, Starfire speaks without contractions, and misuses idioms (e.g. "Kick the butt!" as opposed to "Kick butt!" or "The mall of shopping" instead of "shopping mall" as well as "lobstery" instead of "crabby"). Additionally, she uses several Tamaranean nouns, such as "bumgorf" (term of endearment towards one's own child), "K'norfka" (parent or guardian), "clorbag valblernelk" (insulting term), "G'lufnog" (bless you;said after one sneezes), and "shlorvak" (dream).

Powers:

Flight: Starfire (as well as other Tamaraneans) can fly under her own power, without the aid of wings or any other external applications.Starfire's extremely strong and powerful bright green-colored starbolt blast
In space, this flight can achieve speeds much faster than light. It is said that this is used by great happiness.

Bright Green Energy Projection: Starfire can project bright green glowing energy from her hands. She mainly uses this attack by throwing small bursts of pure bright green energy from her hands, known as "starbolts". She has also been shown to shoot this energy in the form of large beams. The amount of pure energy she can produce at one time can extend to enormous proportions, as seen in "The End Part 1", where she creates the largest starbolt seen in the series. After going through the Tamaranean version of puberty (referred to as the "Transformation"), she gained the incredibly strong, powerful, and useful power/ability to channel her bright green starbolt energy through her eyes as thick ,large narrow laser beams similar to Heat Vision, which is largely reserved as a surprise attack, or when her limbs are restrained.

o Bright Green Energy Sphere: On rare occasions, Starfire has been shown to create a complete sphere of energy around her. Whether she can use this as a form of defense, however, is not known.

o Energy Explosion: In "Betrayal" Starfire shows the ability to create a sudden explosion of energy around her, having the capability to blow away any enemies in the perimeter of the blast.

Self-Sustenance: Starfire also has the ability to survive in the vacuum of space without any sort of protection or survival gear. She also doesn't get as cold as others and will be unharmed by very cold weather (her collapse in Snowblind was most likely due to fatigue rather than the cold).

Invulnerability: Starfire has demonstrated moderate invulnerability to physical harm, heat, cold, and radiation. In Go!, when Robin struck her with his staff, it completely shattered into pieces.

Superhuman Strength: Starfire has great strength, the apex of which is not known, though it appears to be considerably greater than Cyborg's. In the prequel episode, "Go!", she could shake the entire city (or at least a large part of it) by slamming her fists on the ground.

Tamaranean Physiology: Starfire is known to have a long purple tongue and nine stomachs, presumably for storing additional food for meager times.

Language Assimilation: Starfire can learn any language instantaneously through lip contact. She can currently speak English, Tamaranean, and Japanese. It is unknown if Tamaraneans learn any languages at all by regular physical contact other than a kiss.
Abilities

High Agility: Starfire has shown great agility over the known human standards. Although not as agile as Robin she has shown great agility without any known training. In the episode Forces of Nature she was seen doing many backflips and back handsprings on top of a building while dodging Lightning's energy blasts. She was also seen running up a vertical building in the same episode to dodge Lightning's energy blasts.

Fighting Skills: Starfire displayed some great fighting skills. Even when hand cuffed, she could hold her own against a handful of Gordanians and even the Titans when first came to Earth.

Weaknesses

• Starfire, like many Tamaraneans, is allergic to Metallic Chromium. When she sneezes, she unleashes Star-Bolt energy out her nose and mouth. This may or may not be considered a weakness.

• Starfire and Robin's relationship could easily be considered a weakness- either of them could easily be manipulated by threatening or harming the other.

Um.... if you want me to add like a history just let me know!!! But now Starfire is officially claimed!

That time-line is intense, Jeff. I dig it though. Luthor is just the kind of ruthless bastard to orchestrate all of that...

Pfft, I did not get the memo that I actually had to like... write it out myself. So screw you! :p

Oh :p:p:p. There were so many obvious references to cartoon episodes, haha. Even had a few episode titles in there. Oh, and why did you say her eyes were all green with no pupils? LMAO!! :p:p:p Okay, I'll shut up now before I get smacked.

It's okay, I haven't either, haha.

Basically, we could have them join with the rebels and try and get over the wall or something. But that was just an idea for a timeline, it's not written in stone yet. Waiting to see if the other people I invited are gonna show up or not. Lily declined, sadly. Still waiting to hear from Tears, Kuu, Remec, Shuu, and a few others.

The timeline is interesting, unique and intense. I'm waiting for the reveal that Lex at some point was replaced with Brainiac or Darkseid though. A Lex ruled world in all likelihood would be a utopia. His primary motivation is greed and I don't see how he benefits from a scorched earth. However one of the villians I mentioned might like it simply as a way to get rid of every one on earth and the other might actually want a literally scorched earth. That said I'm still down. Maybe this Lex has different motivations. Sides meeting up with Terry will be incredible.

Well, it's not the whole Earth that's scorched, just areas of intense battle, like the East Coast. That's why he put the wall up -- to protect the part of the States that were not scorched and crawling with monsters. He wanted to preserve as much as possible, but also knew some places would get scorched as a result of the war he created. It is a utopia on the other side of the wall, at least in the rich areas. You want utopia, you gotta pay for it. That's totally Lex, hehe.
