Ted Cruz And Lost Causes

Right. We appreciated his rendition of Green Eggs and Ham. I especially love the canned responses from his office in response to my signed petitions.

He states how hard he's working for the state of Texas while he wastes taxpayer money performing Green Eggs & Ham and doing everything he can to shut down the government. He and his Tea Party friends are so extreme they're trying to get John Cornyn kicked out. And you know how far to the right Cornyn is. The GOP is going down a black hole, and they can't even see it.

I suspect he'll be re-elected by a landslide.

Cruz, or Cornyn?

There was no justice in the Clinton case, every Democrat Senator violated his oath of office and failed to support defend the Constitution to save his worthless ass. To a man, they refused to even view the evidence.

That's your opinion. Your opinion is not supported by facts, in my opinion.

What is addled is the notion that you've discussed politics if you've posted a few insults you'd never express in real life.

It bears repetition to say that genuine discussion has nothing to do with Person A versus Person B.

It involves citizens discussing the country.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have repeatedly suggested that anybody who opposes their agenda is racist (when they know that isn't true) or hates poor people (when they know that isn't true).

That sort of gutter level isn't what Republicans need to lower themselves to, but they do need to be willing to oppose socialized medicine.

You started that silliness a few days ago, IIRC. What's it supposed to mean?

As far as I can tell it started with Micheal Levin and he defines it as a Republican who hates Republicans, praises Democrats constantly and then returns to his/her home district and pretends to be a conservative.

Somehow, I hear Tea Party heroes crying out in a panic- "I am going to ruin "my brand," if I back down. How will it look to my supporters ?

(Do they really care about anyone, besides themselves ?)

Sixth time today you've posted this

Cruz tried to do what we sent him there for and pay him to do.

I'll vote for him.

Actually according to David Schippers, only five Congressmen and no Senators ever looked at the material, and "not one Democrat saw fit to examine the evidence."

David Schippers, Sellout: The Inside Story of the Clinton Impeachment (Washungton DC: Regency, 2000, page 254.

Schippers, a Democrat, was the Chief Investigative Counsel for the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.

Darn shame, isn't it?

Perhaps the United States Senate recognized a political witch hunt when they saw one. I know *I* did.

Trolls posting insults are what is repetitive on this -- and most other -- political sites.

Genuine discussion has nothing to do with Person A versus Person B.

If a troll posts some insult about another person (and this is 90 percent of the content here), the troll is confessing that he lacks the education and maturity to discuss the issues.
