How do I change a link to thread into a regular phrase... I have seen so many people write something that links to a thread, but I am cluesless... please help

Are you talking about using the quote function? If so it's on the bottom lefthand corner of the post you want to quote, hit and go.

You need to use Insert Link icon in the tool bar. When you click on it, a small window will open and ask you to enter the url, then you click ok, then second window opens up and ask you to enter the text that will represent the url. That is it.

You can do it in HTML too, the code is very simple. That was before this nice web board software became available. :D

It doesn't work that way since the latest forum software upgrades.

Now you have to either:

a) type the text you want to appear, highlight it, then click the link icon and paste the URL into the box; or

b) click the link icon, insert the URL, click OK, then start typing the text you want to appear immediately, before clicking anywhere else on the text box (while it's highlighted)

Either way, it should look like [*URL="http://www.google.com"]Search Engine[/URL*] without the asterisks.

Once again clueless snugsly need help.

I just hit 1000 posts. Am I able to change the line under my name yet.. instead of literotica guru? I am can, how do I do it? Couldn't seem to find anyting under my CP.

It should be under "Edit Profile", you might have to log out and back in, or wait awhile until the system catches up.
