Tears for no reason

In which one of the MCs is suffering depression, and just randomly starts crying. MC2 tries to comfort MC1. This leads to comfort sex. Except they discover that sex is the ONLY thing that comforts MC1.

Possible problems : one, or both, are in other relationships.
MC2 just doesn't feel romantic attraction to MC1.

Or maybe they are both the same gender, and have (to date) thought they were straight?

I also think this idea needs someone who writes more romantically than my range.

I wrote a -- now deleted -- story where a twenty-something brother lived with his twenty-something younger sister in a fabulous loft. They had come to the metropolis together from a small Midwest US town. Everyone in the big-city thought they were husband and wife. Their annoying neighbors provided daily reports of David Bowie and / or Iman sightings; and they worked high pressure jobs requiring business attire "on the Street."

But she had PTSD and was tormented by (undescribed but from the clues it obviously was sexual abuse by a teacher) memories and could only be comfortable at night by "good-touching." What she called the loving therapeutic sex in the arms of her loving brother. The guy who had ended her torment by killing her abuser back home. This act making him an outcast in their community. (Although he felt no remorse and was not prosecuted.)

Also deleted was another author's somewhat similar -- but better written -- story about twins. they were a wealthy pre-sexual brother and sister who had been kidnapped and held for months to obtain a monetary ransom. In that long period of shared terror the two created a bond that was not understood by others (who figured they just "needed to get over it").

Of course they didn't "get over it," and with each push to "make them normal" after their release the two became closer. Until a final push by their parents right after their shared eighteenth birthday intended to send them to separate schools caused them to finally "cross the Rubicon" and become sexual partners.

You can write a story in conformance with the rules, but if it gets complaints it will come down.
