People can poo-poo Taylor all they want - she's the one who is successful. She's come up in a very supportive environment, but SHE is the one who does the work. A great example, IMO. Ultimately, I think all the hate is just sour grapes.
I don't listen to a lot of the type of music that she makes, but I've played in bands that did her songs, and I can tell you they are fun to play and people LOVE them.
More power to her, I say.
