My Tatts

I have three...a smiling sun on the small of my back, a cresent moon on my left ankle, and the black outline of a butterfly on the back of my neck.

I love my tatts and I love tatts on others.

one so far

I have one on my chest. It took 14 hours. Its pretty personal, but it has two angels as the centerpeice and then and a sun setting into the ocean with clouds and rays of sunlight and air, and then this quote below:

Life is eternal, and love is immortal;/ Death is but a horizon/And a horizon is nothing/ Save the limit of our sight. It goes from about 3in above my belly button to the bottom of my neck.

That way the words say exactly what the picture is saying. Be good to your family and loved ones; you never know how much time you have with them.

I plan on getting a tatt at each life changing event. When I graduate college, get married, and each successive kid. No names or nothin.

Fun

I have three tattoos currently.

One is a black silhouette of a cat sitting. It is on the side of my left calf. It is covering up my first tattoo which was lame.

Another is the paw print of the best cat I have ever met who was a fantastic pet. It is his exact paw print duplicated from an ink print made a couple days before he died. It is on the nape of my neck.

The third is "<3" (less than three) on my left wrist. It is symbolic of the love for my husband and a reminder of that love any time I get suicidal. It is also a tribute to the many love affairs I have had online - I met my husband online after all

okay - we don't get to see anyone's tatts???? when someone shows their's on here, i'll show mine.

a descrip of mine - i have 2. one is very petite looking i guess u can say - it's above my rt ankle and it is my kids' (3) initials linked 2gether w/three red hearts around the letters. the letters are done in purple and the hearts outlined in red.

the other is on my (dare i say it???) boob. it's a purple crescent moon w/a face, and a butterfly in the inside bend of the moon, and a little red flower on the top of the moon. it's very pretty. i just hope people don't get offended by the placement of it. but i don't regret it by any means!

i always wanted a tatt. just never had the guts. i finally did it. 3 1/2 wks. ago, w/a friend. it wasn't so bad - well the boob one wasn't. plenty of padding there. lol the ankle one killed!!!!!! i was in tears on that one. thank goodness it only took 10 min.

so, that's my mid-life crisis story. i did it and am damn proud of it!

so, tell ur stories. would love to hear them!!!!

I have several. My whole left leg is done in tribal Flames. Also, on the left leg is Japanese writing that supposedly says Lunatic for Life. I have a tribal on the right arm and also a Libra Sign on the Right forearm. I have to resize pics to show though.

My Tat

Well since no one has posted a pic of their tat I thought that I woul be the first to get the ball rollin. I have 2 tats one on my left fore arm and one on my right shoulder which is a japanse kanji of one of my martial arts style.

oh, i love the butterfly on the neck!!!! that musta hurt like hell, though. but it's gorgeous!!! i LOVE butterflies!!!!!

i'll try and resize my moon pic. it's a little dark, but if i can get it somehow, i'll add it on.

A Butterfly over my left ankle.

A Butterfly over my right ankle.

I "LOVE" Butterflies!!!

Angel Wings with a Cross in the middle of the wings, just below my left shoulder.

A colorful Tribal tatt across the small of my back.

Both of my Butterfly tatts are colorful too .... my Angel Wings w/Cross are in black ink.

I want a few more, just not sure when I will get them.

No pictures .... maybe one day I'll have some taken of them.

I was 41 when I got my first one ....

ok once you get to the text box to type in your reply, on the same page scroll down to Additional Options then look for Attach Files you will see a button the says Manage Attachments click on it and a pop up, pops up you'll see the browse button click on it and find the pic you want to upload then click o.k. then click the upload button. once you do that then go back to the post text box and click the submit reply

yes it hurt...but no pain no gain. So far on the leg I have 3 hours of work. I have about 8 more hours to finish it. Yours are cool though.
