It seems that almost everywhere you go you see people with tattoos. I confess I even have one myself. But in amosts all the rage of tattoos have you noticed that there are a lot of people who are stupid about it, or just get tattoos that are funny, or in extreemly painful places...

Being that there are so many people here seem to have tattoos I thought having a thread about them might be kind or fun.

Ok here is the one that realy inspired me to post this....

I noticed a gal that I work with had a cute black sun around her belly button. She is about 100 pounds soaking wet, and just found out she is pregnant!

Great thread !

My brother is a tattoo artist and has been for many years. He is also the most amazing artist. I waited a long time to get my tattoo but I finally did ...of course I cried so much he did all the black work one summer ...and the color the next ... lol.

People call and make appointments with him months in advance mostly because he does mostly custom designed pieces ...and man oh man ...some of them are truly spectacular!!

I dont know if any of you ever watch that Jackass show on MTV or saw the movie, but one of Johhny Knoxville's cronies is named Steve-O and he has some STUPID tatoos!

He has "Your Name" on his ass

and in the Jackass Movie, he got a tattoo while riding IN an off-roading vehicle...while it was off-roading!

Ok here is the one that realy inspired me to post this....

You know, I bet that will look pretty cool towards the end of her pregnancy. I did a henna tattoo (a star) on my belly button at 8 months. Unfortunately I didn't get a good pic of it. Ah well.

And that is why I will never get a tattoo on my belly or anywhere else that stretches during pregnancy. It may look cool during, but after.....I don't even really want to think about that.

Mine is going to be a memorial on the outside of my right knee. I've thought about it for about three years now, so I think it's a good idea.

I'm a Marching Band geek, and in my junior year of Highschool a band brother of mine died of a genetic failure of the liver. It's for him.

What instrument do you play? My school didn't have a marching band, but I was a member of the symphonic band for three years. I play the clarinet.

I love tattoos. I have plans for a few more...a betta fighting fish in greywork with slight purple tints on my thigh. A very simple linework outline of two great danes over my heart. something with dolphins and a jewel. an ankleband of snowflakes.

Ok here are a couple others that are intersting...

1. My hubby saw this tnd thought it was hilarious. It was a guy pushing an old fashoned blade lawn mower and it was right though a gals bush. That way when ever she shaved it was like fresh cut lawn.

When i got my one tatoo the gal who did it and I were talking about a strange tat she did before us that was a handprint on the guys back. It was done in flesh color so normaly you would never see it but when he sun burn at tanned it looked look someone only did sunscreen in one spot.

I have a very homophobic friend who had the "exit only" street sign tattooed on his ass

Another friend has a hand of aces and eights tattood on his stomach...he wants to be buried shirtless with his hands folded to look like he is holding the cards. (dead mans hand for those of you that don't know card terms)
