I have been thinking lately that I want a tattoo. This is not like me at all actually, in that I have been reluctant to consider the idea....ever. But recently I saw one on a friend's ankle and was thinking it would be fun to have a little something on my foot. (I know....more painful)

Anyone have it done with much debate and happy with getting it?
What are your thoughts?
Ideas?

Sigh.... Just something small is all....

They suck....and cost a fortune to remove as some trying to enter the corporate world are finding out. Wait for the next fad...... ;)

Sigh....I know...that is what I keep telling myself.
I don't personally get along with the corporate world, so I am not worried about them.

I figured if I still wanted it a year later, then go for it....I am sure I will grow out of it by then.

I got a black and red templar cross (looks a lot like the firefighter's symbol) on my shoulder when I received my divorce papers. Kind of a permanent reminder to me that some things don't change. :)

It wasn't horribly expensive, and didn't really hurt. The only part that bothered me was when they filled in the colors, but that was more annoying/aggravating than anything.

Just remember, unless you break out the laser, it's not coming off. And some places on your body start to droop as you get older, so a small flower might turn into a shrub or something... :))

*giggle*
Thank you :rose:

ROFLMAO!! :D

I have a very tiny Tat I got years ago... it of a name and its on the inside of my wrist... I can tell you that I wish I never got it now... but it isnt hard to even forget its there.

Something small wont hurt that bad and you can always cover it up if you need too if you are smart about where you are putting it, The only thing is... Why get it if its going to be somewhere no one can see??

I think I confused myself... use henna or something.. that will work... :D :cathappy: .*I should have... :( *

I disagree with it being a fad. It may be for some, but not all. Tattoos have been around for ages. I've got three, my first one at age 31. I had always known I wanted them. I'm in the "corporate" world and no one even knows I have them. My thoughts from what I've read from you is that you don't truly want one. When in doubt, don't. Don't get one just to get one, you know?
