I have a fair bit of artwork going on myself and always found it to be sensual and sexual the whole process ( it might not help that my tattooist fucked my brains out mid tattoo lol)
Its the pain/pleasure the thought of this beautiful artwork is with me for life its. Its the rub of latex gloves over raw abused skin. The first prick of the needle. The smell of the ink and cleaners.

I've got a fair few, some are the ill-advised product of my youth, I want a lot more. Both arms and my chest are planned, it's just a case of having the money. My wife has both sleeves nearly completed and she hates getting them done, not the pain, the hassle.

I love the process, from the first consultation until the last time I apply cream to it. I love the smell, the sound, the pain, I love the anticipation before the first touch of the needle, and the roaring burn as the soreness swells every time the needle is removed after the 2-hour mark. There is no element of getting a tattoo which I dislike.

MrFoxwood: that is exactly what I mean the whole drawn out process just makes it more erotic and desirable its hard to explain it to some on who has never had the pleasure of a tattoo
