Instead of starting the story AT the conducting of the research, you have her in jail AFTERWARDS. She is there because as she was doing her research, she gets reported as being a prostitute and gets arrested. She is humiliated, incensed, and forced to explain how a professor she is enamored with, broached the idea with her, and how audacious research projects like this often get funded and make the researchers rather famous. That is why she agreed to do it. This explanation is to a female prosecutor…

The charges of prostitution continue unabated, but the woman is bailed out… by the professor.

Then the con-artist game is revealed. Myself, I would do the introduction as stated, but maybe include a little girl-on-girl sex teaser with her and her cellmate just before she gets bailed out. A little sex scene teaser for readers to keep the erotic interest up before the final, and all-out blow-bang scene. I think that would be good pacing for an erotic story.

Instead of pure scientific research, how about set it in the world of industrial product design research?

A food additive company (or maybe a big pharma company) is trying to invent an additive that will give cum particular flavors.
